Does anybody remember when there was no snow biome, when ascendent used to be red, when every time you tamed a Dino their dossier popped up on your screen, the old interface, no tek, no sickness, 80% time you died your character frickin fell under the map just spazzing out lol, when the max level was like 64, when there was no redwood biome, when people really never trolled with clubs,

Ark is so complex now so many maps explorations and ways to play too much going on, all the biomes and all this ascension explorer notes artifacts secret caves and boss fights , I think they should seperate gameplay and create servers solely for PvP stone age server move up to another server electric age server then work up to Tek age server and then advance to ascension wars server so each server is more about PvP at a similar level of progress and play lever and there wouldn't be alpha Vs hundreds of noobys then separate servers for missions and exploration and seperate servers where you can only gather and no PvP fighting can occur while gathering and taming and everyone can then transfer back to there home server just a few ideas and these seperate servers would allow all players to have a chance to start

Myne1001 I did that to a tribe once. Only it was not one, but two Alpha Rexes. I kited them into their base and watched them wreck everything. They later tried to do the same to me, but the guy kiting it was flying a low level Argy and got too close to the Rex. It killed the Argy, then the guy fled back to his rebuilt base and the Alpha followed and proceeded to wreck them again. I watched this all from the roof of my base, my METAL base, so that Alpha Rex couldn't have gotten through my walls anyway, lol.

This is how ark was meant to be played. Now there are to many toxic alphas and trolls running around with clubs and 300 melee. I remember when you could raid a base and not face 1000 turrets.

I don't agree, the game has always been a toxic genre when cross server wasn't a thing the Alpha tribe on a server was usually a bunch of dickheads making their own rules. But I agree before it was better because if you had a problem with someone you were still able to get revenge now if you mess with the wrong tribe you can get meshed by 50 people lmao and it,s true before I leave Ark for good I was in one of the biggest megatribe and it worked like that if someone was attacking us we had our hundreds of allies coming to help us.

Turret limit is actually 100 now. Defending is nearly impossible. Anyone can offline anyone with a couple trikes

Yep I was in one of the mega alliance on ark and fr it's fun for a time and thats it. That feeling of we're a big family on one server doesn't exist anymore always random people nobody care about anything. Old Ark was much better still had his flaws but it was better!

Man I love this type of primitive raiding. Just one guy and his rifle against a stone base and a couple birds. Everything now is full metal with 3 turrets on each corner, 3 secondary bases, 2 raiding staging points and copious amounts of c4 blowing everything up. Not to mention the tek forcefield. Just not the same

We were lucky not having to move when they changed the map, 2 of our neighbor bases had to relocate when devs expanded the snowbiome to stretch further north east. Originally I read the devs had plans to make snow cover the hidden lake as well, but they abandoned that plan. Our base was on the 2 northern east cliffs on the map (northeast shores).

Clearly the old UI was so much better... The new UI is so generic but I got used it to (didn't really had a choice didn't I? lol)... Man I still kinda miss the old Ark. I still remember the first time i played this game, I was so amazed by the feeling of the game (graphics, sounds etc.), being lost in the middle of the swamp felt like the map was incredibly huge. Until you finally tamed your first flyer... Good old time!
