Honestly this seems well-deserved. Shutting down servers on SE and making them pay FULL PRICE to buy a buggy game just to play on servers again is a dick move. They also lied to their playerbase about the dlcs in SA which again is a real dick move. Lying to your customers makes them not want to use your product and Snail Games is only learning that now

It’s not “dying”? It’s an early access title that has only one map and the old Dino’s from the last game, there is no incentive to play Asa as of right now because burnout is a thing? I hate this mentality because you see a game preforming poorly, and then people try to capitalize off the death wagon. If wildcard comes out tomorrow and says “we are canceling work on Ark survival ascended” then it’s cooked! Games that have players aren’t dead.

I get what you’re saying and agree but until they release more content it is just slowly going downhill. I don’t scorched would be enough to save it so let’s just say it takes them another year until there’s a good enough variety of dlcs/arks, within that year I reckon the player base would drop even further and potentially to a point that people wouldn’t want to come back. Although that being said ark players always come back at some point lol My intentions in this video aren’t to shit on wildcard/ark or try to say I hate the game etc, I bought the game and love it, I play it often and wish for the game to thrive for years on end, but at its currently trajectory I don’t think it’ll survive for long

Honestly, ascended is what i always wanted whilst playing ark, Mods:Check Graphics:Check Realistic:Check QOL changes:Check And many other things ive wanted, also while the fps still isnt good, its alot more stable

I think another big reason SA isn't bigger is that it pretty much requires a 40 series card to run it. Both my gf & I wanted to play SA but when we learned that it runs like crap on our 30 series cards, we decided to just stick with SE

Another big reason is that they are charging an absurd price for a reskinned and reworked version of the same game thousands of people already spent tons of money on to get all the DLC.

People just dont like the new one I dont, PvP wise its a mess with stickwomen and structures 4x the size makes being solo a pain and crossplay was only good for PVE but it ruined PVP especially if your a PS player we had it so good for years now we got cheaters.

I was just looking at the numbers - looks like ALL games are dying. The gaming generation has grown up and doesn't want their kids wasting all their time, since they are now required to be on Ipads from the time they wake up until after school. The current model is madness nobody has the attention span anymore for gaming.

I don’t see how people hate ascended and say it’s a “cash grab” cause the old game, if you got all the DLC’s at release is probably 4x the price, and if anything it was more pay to win, it always has been with DLC’s, Asa is in alpha and has 7 free DLC’s with a new creature in each one plus a whole new one with 4, i think with just a year or 2 it will get way better and be a well made good game, with minor bugs, like any game.

You really believe what you’re saying?😂 DLC’s came out with a long period of time between each one and they felt like playing a whole new game so it was reasonable, ASA is a cash grab since I’m basically selling you the same product for extra 60$, with the same bugs with nothing new (except for a new creature only for each map). Also they won’t release all the maps (They are wild card) they would release like 5-6 maps and each one would be delayed for like 3-4 months. +Bugs will remain game breaking btw +ASA should is what ASE should have been for no extra cash (free updates)

I play PVP and the game died for me because they focus too hard on the PVE Community more than anything and I stopped in doing it after they release DLCs after DLCs but the quality has been worse and worse and I have I have been miserable playing it the cheating has been the lord of the wazoo aspects of the game made it ruined
