You are one of the few that I watch play ark, and honestly, I enjoy having you in the background while I'm ether breeding or harvesting metal. Hey Phoo. Been watching you for about a year now and haven't left a comment yet. I wanted to give my thanks for your awesome coverage of Ark. It took me way too long to find this game but that's not entirely a bad thing because if there's something I'm stuck on there's like a 99% chance you've got a video on it lol. Thanks for showing us these spawn locations. I just started a character on this map and I'm looking forward to your solo series on it!

Scutters Inlet: Great place to start . . . but stay on the west side. Occasionally, Rex's descend from the east. Kesler Inlet: Same thing. Rex's come out around there sometimes, as well as carnos and raptors. However, both have access to decent metal/obsidian in the form of a nearby cave.

Huge fan, Happy to see your covering this map. While listening to you and playing the map myself i discovered something. K mode: Mount a dino that you can use a bow etc while riding. Push K mode while tool is in hand. The A and D button now control the movement direction of the dino you are riding whilst in K mode. . Maybe you already knew this. It was a game changer for me. Small things lol. IF you didn't know, please share with other players as you desire. I found it helpful. Phlinger is Ark King lol

Something I think would be cool to add to thylas would be night vision! Cats have better vision as night compared to the day and it would be cool if they added that

@@mack13137 they are marsupials not rodents or felines, think Kuala or kangaroo. Possums are the only point of reference for nocturnal marsupials that I know off the top of my head

Love your videos Phlinger. I watched your video, and liked the Tumash , so much, I settled there on Sgl.P. Amazingly some of the palm like wood, can be picked up. But only in daylight?. Tmln 3.34 its location nr cliff face before angled rock, seems to unlock pick up-able wood > toward area position 3.46. In Single Player, there is a Leeds trapped in the shallows in the bend of the bay.

That intro music reminded me of the first time you went to tropical Island North on the center, and got killed by that bug. Gloomy coast is my favorite, and if you do go to The lost Island on your regular series, I challenge you to go there.

I really wanna see ark just revamp and expand the island a bit, it's the oldest map and I think revisiting it and adding some hidden details would be amazing, nothing too big that would interfere with the lore tho

I have my base on Kesler Beach easy, on pve official, and all my dinos got wiped by an alpha raptor while I was gathering medal last night

I started at the first spawn location, ended up building a base near 2 rexes, a carno, raptors and 3 terror birds. I had to move after a little bit.

Looks like single player spawns are broken again.. Not very populated at all. Notice there were no fish, mantas, sharks, dodos or anything in those easy and medium areas.. That underwater area with silicone pearls had no life as far as the eye could see.. There was one shark when you got close to the island. I don't expect it to be crowded but it should feel alive. It's broken.. It's normal at this point for Wild Card. I expect nothing less from them.

This would be fantastic if I didn't spend the last 5 hours downloading 30gb only for the game to uninstall itself and start re-downloading all 300+ bastarding gigabytes all over again. I swear to god if I lost all my progress again, I will never touch ARK again and will not buy ARK 2.

its a large map tho so you probably need more ram to play this map unless your pc is already decent

@@stefanristic9245, lost island is 150 square kilometers while ragnarok is about 144 square kilometers, so its about 6 square kilometers bigger than ragnarok and i already have some graphical bugs with ragnarok as is and i have 8 gigs of ram so i reccomend having lots of ram and a good proccesor and graphics card

@@angelicadayanafernandez1525 well thats gonna be a small problem im having amd ryzen 3200g with 1 8gigs of ram stick gotta buy another make it work in dual channel so it would boost my performances of proccessor and integrated grapgics card by literally 20% so i can hopefully play it in at least 30fps
