I had a couple friends who, anytime they wanted to get wyvern eggs, went full X games. They'd obtain the same type of mount and start at opposite ends of whatever trench happened to be on the map. The goal would be the first person to fly to roughly the opposite end, grab an egg, and return back to their starting point. As one of them told me, it quickly became a strategic balancing act of being quick vs trying to lead wyverns into the other person.
