Just because they didn't originally say it will cost money doesn't mean it is fraud if it does cost money. At the moment it is just an assumption that it will, but considering the content will match that of other platforms it makes sense it will cost money.

And I’d much rather pay for the app and have NO in app purchases or get the island for free and just buy the different expansions as the few in app purchases I’m hoping you get some of these answers soon so we can really be prepared for what’s to come Edit: do you know anything about boss fights like the pc and console versions? If they decide to get rid on the dungeons(hopefully they do)

I have personally played ark mobile back when I didn’t have a pc for like 1000 hours and I gotta say if you can buy the game and there’s not so many ingame micro transactions it might actually be pretty fun to play on the go. Imagine playing pve and being able to play anywhere

Tbf mobiles been out for 4 more years than switch and they were really good about updating it weekly for the first year or so. Then it went to monthly, then bimonthly, then half a year, then a year and radio silence after that (but I guess it was to release the full game tbf/ I see now)

In my opinion, it's pretty obvious the game won't be free after the update anymore. Devs gotta make money somehow. But even if it stays free, there's no doubt we will pay money for the new maps. Its not so big of a problem, just gotta hope they dont make it expensive as hell. Anyway, Im so happy to know Ark mobile is getting new maps and dlc creatures!! Im also praying they will let us redact our single-player settings instead of choosing brutal, hard and etc. If they dont add it and delete the balms, I aint spending 20 hours to tame a 1 lvl griffin :D I will miss the old shop and the ability to revive our creatures using implants, but I do prefer the game to be more like pc. Especially because running dungeons sucks so much. I would rather make a rex army and go fight with broodmother than trying to SURVIVE THE TRAPS OMG I DIED TO THEM SM TIMES WHEN I WAS JUST STARTING TO PLAY ARK (still hate them) But what bothers me the most is the amount of storage my phone gotta have to install the maps- No, wait, am I even going to be able to play new ark mobile on my phone.. Super thumbs up for this update. It addresses every aspect of the game issues including the consistent lack of tackling the lack of interest in removing cheaters. The only thing I would add is to be sure to add another year to anything Grove Street says. If this truly goes to pay instead of microtransactions I will start to actually consider coming back. I think that Rag is probably going to be the only community map the switch gets too - in the crunch where they announced gen2 for switch, they said something to the effect of "and with this, we've delivered for the ultimate survivor edition" which makes me think they'll be done.

It was on store few days ago but now its removed. I hope they make it less demanding on phones, it was very laggy. But game overal is nice, very unique i liked it, it was running decent on single player. Also resourses respawning, in single player if they can fix this also... It have potential to be n1 survival game on phone. Also make it premium , pay to download like on steam. And less transactions, for example renting a server costed money that was a bit too much. Make it a premium game, and problem fixed for all.

Just for information, switch is like 7 years old rn and phones are obviously better than that so yeah don't lose hope just wait for it and if they're actually bringing this edition then you'll be happy to know that there is a feature in Ark called resolution scaler, it'll make the game look a bit meh but allow you to play smoothly so yeah don't lose hope

@@ultravegito9497 that map part is obviously true, I believe we'll get scorched earth along with release in December, Abberation in like July next year, Extinction in December next year, Genesis part 1 in April - June 2025, Genesis Part 2 in December 2025 - March 2026, Genesis maps are way too big and they need to do alot of coding and all so I won't actually blame them for not really being able to release all the maps next year so yeah that covers about the maps and speaking of compatibility, it's true that 6 gb Ram is really not enough these days as well as the processor you're talking about but believe me bro the resolution scaler feature is really awesome asf like seriously it makes even shitty pcs run ark in mid graphics so yeah I'm pretty sure you'll be able to run in but ofcourse the visuals won't be that good
