I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

Also they said that they made a new basing code (or whatever it's called) for Shasta's saddle so we will have to wait and see how problematic it truly is. Also I don't think you can get more problematic than something that just straight up doesn't work at all like the original design

Its one of those things you probably just need to have your tames within a vicinity of it and then you'll load creatures via a radial menu. They did this with Atlas and the ships where your dinos just need to be near it and you could load them onto it via radial menu... Just a thought, would be the way i'd do it rather than having to swim dinos under the water and the whale

I’m fine with the submarine being under the Shasta, but why did the have to make it look like a ball sack😭 They could’ve made it look more hydrodynamic. Flipping the one from the dossier could’ve been a 100% cooler😢

I love all these amazing ocean creatures but there NEEDS to be morw stuff to do in the ocean, mini bosses/actual bosses, more water caves, better base building, and the like are all a MUST if they wanna add more cool ocean creatures cause personally, after im done taming a mosa it stays in a cryopod till i need it for something once in a blue moon and the Center is the perfect map to change that

I got Svart and it seems to be running well on my series x and not overheating once I turn clouds and fog off 😅the map itself is a huge change to what the cross platform version was a week ago and is definitely worth the money imo.

Raas, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the livyatan, it’s a very very well done mod and it’s quickly become one of my favorites, you basically have to go on a quest to progress through the tiers, not to mention the a whole new ocean boss. The creature itself is awesome, has plenty of attacks and features

Got about 10 hours into Survive The Night now and imo I'd say its worth the price if your single player and coop gamer. Think we do need like 24hr trail period on premium so players can try before they buy.

The Anomalocaris mod is 100 percent worth it and I suggest everyone add it to their maps, its such an amazing creature, as with most of the creatures that Garuga has done but this one is simply a masterpiece in a class of its own. It truly belongs in the game and helps to make the oceans feel more alive and might I say more dangerous than ever. With the additions of the Xiphactinus and the Anomalo the ocean has finally gotten the love that it needed, the only sad part is that it wont be getting added to official since it is premium but it truly deserves to be appreciated by all as it is a fantastic creature.

I'm curious to see how well the Shasta goes on launch. It has all the potential to be a mess of meshing and exploits. It'll be fun going back to the Centre though and seeing what's been updated and what's been left as is... (Secretly hoping the jumping puzzle is significantly easier)

It won't happen, but I still would have loved a surprise drop of a new boss and arena. Something like an underground cave with a giant river running through it, and the boss being a giant 3 headed dog. Fighting Cerberus in an arena based on the underworld/river Styx? That would have been much cooler than recycling the Broodmother and Megapithecus.

I do hope we have an alternative saddle for the Shasta. Like for the platform saddle, we have a also a basic type. I mean, i'm not even interested in the submarine itself 😅 Plus, if the dude dies, we lose everything. I hope the dinos won't target it, at least. I always found stupid that Sharks attack something bigger than them -.-" water creatures seem to not have an aggro type, like the ground ones (carnos don't aggro on tamed gigas, rexes and brontos, for example). It would be cool if it's a tek saddle we have to unlock by defeating the bosses. It gives them a purpose. but, meanwhile, we could ride it with a basic saddle 🤔

@@Hunter-7115 I'm not honestly sure how much it is inspired by Horizon but I do know that the bridge that the stegos are walking across in the preview for reverence has very "the old world" Vibes to it. I even tried to ask the mod author if it is supposed to be inspired by Horizon zero Dawn but I never got an answer so for what I'm saying it's just all what I see.

The only issue I have, more specifically, is mod maps that cost money. Some of them are unfinished, and most of them say so in their description. My problem is that a mod map should be 100% complete BEFORE it can be sold. I love svartalheim but was very, very disappointed that its description says it's incomplete. If we buy it before its completion, where's the drive/push to actually complete it? Can we get refunds if it's not complete by X date? Why should anyone buy an incomplete map, is it one of those situations where they don't have the money to complete the map and need our help to fund it? I believe that modders should 100% be paid for their content if it's complete and actually worth being premium. If it's not complete, I'm not likely to buy it. I learned from past devs/game creators that always take the money and run and usually never finish the content in question. I'm not convinced it won't happen here either. Or even the opposite, it's paid for, then they complete it, but it's no longer compatible with my platform of choice. There's a lot of variables that is preventing me from buying maps atm. Everything else seems fun and complete. I can't wait to try those GG islands come payday.

But out of the 8 premium mods available to me, the floating islands are the only ones that's 100% complete that I'm interested in. Sure, there's omega ark and a few others, but they do not sound like how I want to play. So far, the floating islands are the only premium mod I'd be interested in spending money for.

It's not "supposed" that Xbox and PS get a cut. If you look on Curseforge, they break down how much the mod makes get. And it's a good bit less then what they get from PC. 30% gets taken from the top for a "gateway" fee. Example CF gives is $10 PC mod, creator gets $4.88. On console they get $3.50. Pretty substantial drop if you ask me

I understand the technical difficulties involved, but the saddle looks stupid. It looks like a ball sac that is not aesthetically pleasing and seems to be designed to produce as much drag as possible. Just stretching the gondola length wise would’ve made it look a lot less stupid, and get rid of the pointy-sci-fi-y edges too like how an actual submarine should look

Fr. I was expecting basically a tame the size of a leed with a giant saddle laying flat across its back that was completely breathable inside. Looking at the player counts we certainly need The Center to be good. Dipping down to a low of 8K players with ASE still having a considerably higher player count. I also agree that it needs different bosses and a water boss would be awesome. Sadly, I don't see that happening.

They had a chance with SE to add second boss like deathworm or tek wyvern or sth. Center really could use water boss and more explorable caves for artifacts. SE in that department really sucks.
