You don’t need to drag a single stack of items from left to right inventory, just hold x on the stack and press R2 and you saved yourself some dragging 👌

You can put hesperonis eggs in a cooking pot to turn them into oil. Great oil farm for the island

When tracking resources, you can also clear all that you are tracking by selecting the box (bottom right within inventory) next to the drop down menu located within your inventory. Found that out today

For those who are computer nerds. The thing that causes screen tearing is when your game graphics are updating at a rate out of sync with your computer monitor. While the game is in the middle of updating one frame, your computer updates the screen and only half of the game graphics have been processed. So one part of the screen is still on the previous frame. Vsync is supposed to remedy this not by limiting your frame rate, but by waiting until the whole frame is updated in the game before passing that data to your monitor. This does slow it down by the most miniscule amount, but is an amazing feature I'm surprised they dont have as a normal option. You'll see vsync in everything nowadays.

I’d be careful with that folder tip if you drop your inventory that floder gets dropped too 😢 I lost a 150 mamoth, and rex and didn’t even realize until a few hours later

Do you or anyone else know the controller command for the whistle "MOVE TO". I would like to use my tapejara to get a quetzal but I'm not smart enough to figure out the correct sequence on a controller. I know I did it in Evolved but I don't remember hot to access those whistle commands for the passenger seat.

Not sure if it’s always been a thing, but i just found out that when riding an Argentavis, if you’re having trouble killing pesky little creatures that swarm or like to run behind you, you can pick them up in your talons by clicking the left joystick and then you can attack them with R2 to kill them 1 by 1.

Hold A on said item, the hit RT. Hold RT to quickly transfer a bunch of stacks. :)

How do I turn on hit points? When fighting with a dino or shooting a weapon, I'm not seeing the hit damage numbers, usually in green. I can find any settings in PS5. Playing official. I saw them when playing unofficial.

Enable console commands in the settings (shown in this video) and then enter the command 'Saveworld' (no quotations).

Yep. Though It could possibly be added to server settings if you were on unofficial, or ini on PC but I haven't tested

I agree the foliage is out of control, grass is too high and obstructs vision not to mention chopping down trees or rocks. So much obstruction

On Xbox you can indeed increase the tether distance. It’s under settings in main menu before loading your world. Haven’t tested to see if it expends it. But you can for sure change it’s value. :)

Sounds like it could be the auto snapping feature? It tries to snap a lot of things by default to certain places on the ground or on foundations. I think it's hold RB to disable snapping.

Wow do you have any mods installed? Also check how much storage you have on your PS5. You may need to save and delete some other big game to improve performance.

My lighting is terrible on Xbox. Everything is ultra high contrast and at dawn/dusk everything is red. This only happens in ark so it’s not my tv.
