I’m on ps5 and I swear the ground textures aren’t loaded properly for scorched earth but it looks fine for the island

Im still disappointed on the framerate… 30 fps in 2023-2024 they should start listening to the community instead of pumping out content. But im used to this at this point…still disappointing though.

I'm so glad people are talking abt the series s cause I was so excited to play this game and when I loaded in I wanted to kms it looked so bad I stayed up late researching on how to fix it, I never found anything. And people are saying the s is not powerful enough to run the game which is not true it's just the developers have done a god awful job at optimizing the game to the point where high end pcs even struggle with this game

There’s no way in hell this Xbox will ever reach a stable 60 in ASA without some extreme lowering of the settings or upscaling. Hell not even the 4090 can get a stable 60 on this game at like 1440p without upscaling. So you will need to lower your standards for this game lmao

I play on series x and the game is borderline unplayable. The take will have random color like red, green, pink that pop up and take up the entire screen.

You see some signs building up, but it can feel sudden

That’s where jerboas were your early warning system by their specific calls that’d warn you of heat waves and sandstorms it was honestly the best map of the game due to it’s difficultly

I do have a frame rate monitor on the screen throughout this video and talk about it in the video. This map performs better than The Island did when I last played it.

Please try a video for series s the game on that console has gotten way worse since release this new update has completely ruined ark ascended for the series s the game looks worse than Minecraft at this point it’s so wrong what they have done to us Xbox users I never ever have seen a worse looking game in my life and it’s sad because a month or two ago it was the best looking game I’ve ever seen…

OMG thank you!!! I thought I was going crazy. The blur is insane now even with disabling clouds, shadows, ect. I see other consoles play scorched earth and I’m mind blown at how clear it is.

I’ve been searching for this for two days straight, the initial release of Ark Ascended was stunning on my Xbox, like beautiful, now, even in single player my character is blurred in the menus, I got a drag when I turn my character, he multiplies in the drag, the clouds are hugely pixelated, the textures aren’t as dense, what happened, it worked perfectly and the update broke it for me, and yet no one is talking about it, no reddits, no videos, nothing.

@@cheyannetaylor137 Agreed! Not even a fan, but I figured, with the update I'd give it a shot...not good, not good at ALL! I literally couldn't even play it, it was like trying to play a game underwater, without swimming goggles?! Oh well, onwards & upwards, SO many other good games & movie/TV show content to f with...BTW: The new Fallout show is fantastic (even better if you've played the games and have context), and this may go without saying, but "The Last of Us" on HBO/Max is stellar!! 🙂
