They should add a Riding Skill stat that among other things would affect whether you get tossed off a bird when you touch the water, or maybe briefly lose control over it.

At a high enough Riding level, the bird wouldn't do anything when you touch the water, except be blocked from going into it like a force field. Also I don't know if they're already planning on adding any rideable fliers that can land in the water but that would be awesome, too.

Hey Sl1p i thought you should know there is a way of getting more than two ramps on your quezts platform you need to park your quetz facing up hill so the third ramp gets tricked into thinking the ground is a foundation. so hopefully this helps and still works.

parachutes man. always have one. I learned that lesson the hard way when i first started playing and would fall off my birds constantly to my death. Lost a set of journey flak and tools because i landed and died at the top of a tree and couldnt find my corpse again lol

Hey Sl1p, if you eat mushrooms it's a lot better than cooked meat. They weigh less, you can hold 100 in a stack, and they give you more hunger than cooked meat. Just a tip

Hey Sl1p, when you level dinos or killing alphas you should make the Broth of Enlightenment and remote use item on it. It is made with the new Black Pearls, but it it accelerates XP gain. I don't know if it actually works on dinos but it sounds cool to try!

Sl1p, a hint for body/bag-finding, turn view distance to low, it de-renders rocks and bushes, so the bag will stand out from a distance, kind of a cheat, but body-finding is dumb.

The giga probably got over the wall while on top of those rocks. Lol... That's why you never build anything that's not metal with any dinos near a mountain/base of a mountain. Giga's are strong in the wild.

Hey Slipg8r, maybe the beavers will stay in the pen and not despawn if you put a transponder node on them. A transponder node wouldnt alter their wild status, and the server would need to keep track of the dino, which should prevent the despawning imo. I don't have a beaver pen in my SP yet, so I haven't gotten around to test it, but if you could try it out I would be very interested in the results :)
