I wish the ARK Devs would add a floor polisher because then you could clean the rust off the metal ceilings, foundations, etc... and everything would be so shiny you could see your base for miles. Also they should add death markers on the map (at least for lv.10 and under) so that players can find their homes/bases easier. Awesome video as always Sl1pg8r

Use the second "floor" of the building to keep all your flying creatures (Pteranodons, Argentavis and Quetzalcoatlus) and put in some feeding troughs stocked with meat for them to eat. Also thank you for posting this vid. I had a pretty bad day on ARK today. My level 35(?) Parasaur Trumpet and my Dodo Steve got killed by a flock of three Dimorphodons. They also led My Phiomia Ms. Piggy and Dilophosaurus Spitter off a cliff and into the ocean (I play my game on the Dodo island Map so the only beach was on the other side of the island) They lived however since I led them to shore using my raft. Now I am building a wall around my base area because carnivores like Dilos, Raptors, Saber Tooths and Scorpions are getting more common. This video cheered me up since the death of my Para and Dodo really hit me hard. So thanks :,)

Slippy, I've got a suggestion for the second story of yer wee base. On the floor above the vaults, directly above the middle of the ramp, drop a metal dino gate, build a big tall room around that, but if you put 2 squares of ceilings, 2 squares off the ground, you can land almost any birdie on them and use it as a brilliant little Avery, then just connect the higher up floors with hatches and ladders. I've got about 16 flying mounts stored in about the same space.

Another great video Sl1p! I think the pillar issue might be because they top and bottom are snapping to the ceilings rather than the pillars, so they don't replace the wooden ones. Also, for the ladder, did you try standing on the outside? It seemed to want to snap closer to you rather than further away, so if you stand right above where you want it to go that may let you do it.
