Sadly Kairuku don't spawn on the icebergs in Single Player so you'll have to find a breeding pair in the main land and make a farm out of them, at least until next week when Mantis replace them for Polymer farms.

There is a mod that grinds Kairuku eggs into polymer. I like it a lot better than having to killing babies.

For snow north breed your Baryonyx many times to get good health and melee and use rare flowers to lure the purlovia out of the ground from a distance when your Baryonyx gets low health eat the fish in the water to quickly heal your Bary

A brilliant summary and guide. I would add a tip for the cave of the immune, bring a spare gas mask or two. Arthopluera damage armor and eventually break your gas mask. If you don't have a spare to quickly switch to you will die and not be able to return to get your stuff. As a rule when I'm down to my last mask I turn around and stop actively seeking out critters.

I had probably 1500 hours in ASE and I fought gamma and beta brood mother towards the very end and then beyla but now I have maybe 10ish days on ASA and I’m currently fighting the gamma broodmother well im getting artifacts ill be fighting in like 2 hrs

Thank you very much for the great guide. I have a request as someone that has never ascended before. When you do ascened what happens? How do you start the next map? Do you start new? If not new then do you just start the same character but it gets wiped?? No one goes into this and it has always confused me. I finally got my pc fixed so im just starting asa. I have played on ase but never ascended before.

i beat the gamma monkey last night, i was worried so I went with lv 240 rexes 50k hp 1k melee and 90 armor saddles, turns out i was dramatically over prepared and they killed him in 20 seconds, not bad for my first boss fight in 4k hours of ark

doedicurus does not spawn on herbivore island. In fact, all places you mention for doed are pants. The only reliable place for doed is the same as the argy - that neverending brawl point on leftmost border of snow and jungle. Just for doed you need to widen lookout a little bit.

When you ascend from the island to scortched earth, do you start off with a new avatar or are you able to take your island character over to scortched earth?

You should be able to keep your character. It works like that on official servers and unofficial clusters. It should also work for singleplayer, but I think it worked a bit differently, not a 100% sure.

I have so many questions that the wiki doesn't properly address, and no one that I have found really goes through. What happens after ascending? How does someone go about continuing through the other maps. Do you take your character? Do you start a new one? How do you go from beating the island to going to scorched earth? The game doesn't explain alot and as a person that needs exact directions it is confusing to me. Can anyone help me with this??

Man, how on earth do you get the game to look so good?? No matter how high I turn the graphics, even if I turn everything to max and ignore the frame rate, it just never looks right for me. Especially recently- I just came back after a few months break, and now it’s insanely pixelated, I didn’t even change any settings. Before, the light shafts and stuff were weirdly pixelated, but now it’s just everything. Also laggier than before. Really hoping to find a fix before Scorched :/

A little bummed that the there isnt much of an easter event but not suprising. Between making sure everything goes well with Scorched releasing and the fact that the easter event is easily the most forgettable event it is no suprise. Still would of been nice just to have the bunny dodos to farm some chibis though.

I swear devourer was an easier cave on the old game until I got to artifact hunting with my base Thyla and found out quickly that there was like 50 more bats than usual at the bottom. Anyone else think old game devourer was easier I lost my Thyla luckily got my journeyman’s saddle back smartly placing a bag in the cave

I am so sad. Even in se I „played“ every map and built massive bases and bred insanely strong dinosaurs but once I’m so over the top to easily kill the bosses, I just quit. I’ve killed the spider once but that’s it. Somehow I am good at ark but still remain bad..
