When I heard your name, I thought of the “Hesperornis”. I remember the first time I played ark, encountering one of these derpy doo’s on the beach and it attacking me. I distinctly remember it’s derpy waddle and goofy AF looking face as I chopped it into organic polymer with my stone hatchet. From that point forward every time I see one , I think in my head “hessssssperornis!” and how they are my favorite goofy Dino in ark. Never tamed one. Might make that a goal in my current play through.

For the wooden-platform balcony I used a torch between the fence foundation with railings and for me it look nice, especially at night when the torches burning.

Im hearing alot of talk about lowering foundations, which is pretty simple, but you can also RAISE and lower foundations if you combine the whole pillar trick with ceilings aswell. Nifty trick

Built my first base using the tips you showed for expanding the platform out two tiles. I also found using a stone pillar on each end closes the tips off (the gap in between the fence foundations).

No problem, sorry it didn't line up just right for you. There's another trick I learned to get them to match up once you have one section placed: On the next wedge, go to the outside edge and line up the fence foundation with that. Then in orbital view, bring that down to meet the end of the last line you placed.

I havent made any tree buildings yet, but i see u had a small problem with gaps in the outer cirkle. Have u tried using dino gates ? just a suggestion, havent tested it out myself yet. Just a heads up if you place a stone fence foundation down in the center it's easier to place the metal for the centering part of placement and the you place the metal ones and pop the stone

Is it a must to build wooden tree platform? Please i need some guide. Im currently at level 36, i want to build tree platform but I think I should wait till level 40 to collect the engrams from level 37-40. Im right now have 88 engrams, planning to learn sabertooth saddle and petranodon saddle.

I used wood, but stone or metal is also possible. But they look different and placing walls is different on those. Since this video I havent been really working with it anymore, so not sure how it works these days

I'm trying to do the extended floor right now, but my OCD hates how awful of a job I'm doing, because I cant get the fence foundations to be perfectly symmetrical.. wish there was a way to make that easier I got one of the 12 sides.. only for it to say "cant place wooden ceiling:no nearby foundation support" even though I did exactly what he did, how to I fix this?

Well if you have no imagination, you just make round houses on these round platforms. But if you think outside the box, you can build the same house you have always built on these, since they are really huge. I guess you wouldn't need a video for that though, to just show you how to put a rectangular house on one :)

the trees have 2 snappoints for platforms and yea you can build on the top one. you choose what snappoint you use for your platform, the lower or the higher one
