Just so you know, we've been able to drag an unconscious dino since Scorched Earth came out.. that's one of the main uses for the lasso with an equus.

I'm surprised by the amount of people who keep going "We've never be able to drag unconscious creatures before" We've been able to for quite some time using the lasso item, which can only be crafted in an Equus' saddle. It only works on things up to the size of an argy tho, so hopefully this new hook attachment will be able to move even bigger creatures

The armodoggo is incredibly useful for any type of player for pepole who need to transport stuff but have no tames exept the armodoggo can hold it with no consequences but is it a early game tame or a late game tame

Thanks for this recap ! The tower is really a PvP structure because in PvE/SP it's basically free XP ! What worries me about this content is how obsolete it basically makes everything else. Why would you tame several types of dinos when the Armadoggo does it all, and what it can't do the buggy will ? It feels meta breaking, but maybe I'm wrong. (Can't you drag a tranqed creature with an Equus and a lasso anymore ? I haven't tried in a while but I remember it working)

Quite curious about what's gonna happen to Tek ATV with all those new vehicles being "better". Of course those vehicles still are gonna suffer from the same downside: being ground only, Air > Ground. As for the doggo, I'm quite excited about it now that I know it won't be able to die, that makes it alot more interesting. I wonder how long it will take for it to regenerate once Down But Not Dead (buried). With all that said, I still wish it would be able to grow bigger or morph into a War Doggo that we could mount.

Looks awesome and sounds fun. Like many others i too would have enjoyed some slightly more tek aligned stuff. But i really like the industrial x primitive you see here. The cars, metal plates, and junkyard stuff covered in bones and skins is awesome. Id love to see if i can recreate anything borderlands adjacent. One of those armor sets definitely looks pretty close to some psycho stuff.

Oh, what a day. What a lovely day and honestly, these carts are incredible. I just hope they're not buggy, like in the original ark because they were broken, like, really, really bad. They were clunky, they were loud and they were not worth building, and hopefully they fixed it properly and ascended, because if they didn't, there's gonna be a lot of problems with it and honestly, i'm really hoping it does well

I see a lot of support for this update and as a pvp vet I can tell you that the cars (in the pvp scene at least) will never be viable. Having to drive the car around on land makes it automatically worse than flying a wyvern or anything else to bring to a raid. The turrets are nice, but that being said bringing a vehicle to a raid would be a pain and there would be 0 point in having it over just bringing a fob. The cars in the pvp scene will go the way they did in rust, completely unused but still a neat feature.

I love everything about this, but it's a massive shame that it has to be mad max themed, I never liked the post apocalyptic garbage world theme, it's the reason I could never get into fallout. I really can't think of any scenario where these structures would fit, even when I think about its home map the aesthetic I always think of is robots and tek. Not going to change how I feel about the content, but I just really wish it was more tek themed instead of apocalypse themed, I don't think I'll be using the structure set at all

@@joeygamingnl2724 - most are completely useless at any point of the game. - New creatures have 10+ abilities while old ones have 1 bite attack and that's it. - a lot of them have bad animation and models - some only need a few things here and there to be good, but they never got any updates - some fill in a unique niche, but are too bad at their own niche to be useful

@ I do agree for the most part, especially models and complexity but most creatures from back in the day still have use now, some are even still some of the best creatures in the game like Argy (although it did get a tlc) and the Theri, Yuty and Daeodon

The cars are mainly pve, actual players on mounts are way too smart to get kited and killed by the turrets on the cars but u could kill a lot of creatures quite easily with them from the sounds of it and the Armadoggo sounds really useful

Not really, train and Zeppelin haven't been used much and everyone still use dinos much more. Also the vehicle needs to be repaired when driven which is tedious compared to riding a dino
