Phantom crystals are my absolute favorite!! That smaller one you held up with the chevron look in it at 8:38 was fantastic. I'm a Disabled Veteran and it's hard for me to do a lot of physical stuff but I want to go to this mine so bad. It seems to be one of the best mines for phantoms so save some for me! lol...happy digging!

Its great that avant is open to the public, i sincerely hope that everybody that can will go and hunt at avant. Maybe they will stay open to the public, if so. They used to have a sign posted in the area stating that they were open to the public, but they actually were not. Those seem to be beautiful clear crystals. Nice. Another mine in the area used to have them gorgeous crystals, but last year all they were bringing up were milky crud. Of course that is the luck of the vein. Please stay open to the public Avant. If you do, we promise to come at least twice every summer and dig for your gorgeous crystals.

I would love to head out to Arkansas, I haven't been there since I was kid in the mid seventies. It would be great to dig with you, but for me I need more notice for these events. That could be something to add to your channel would be dates of events coming up across the country like at the end of the video. Its fantastic to see the mine opening again, the crystal hunters will love to go and see what they can find and the price is very good especially to take home what you find. Bryan Major def knows his stuff. i dug there Saturday and found a football sized cap . And a hoagie sized crystal. among other large and small points. the little pocket i found was small srstals. but so clear and such nice points

I wish I lived near there, I’d go in a heartbeat! Did you get a chance to soak at some of those natural hot springs? I think Hot Springs, Arkansas is not too far from there and there are most likely some pockets of springs scattered about I’m assuming. It’s definitely one of those places in America on my list of places to visit. Imagine....digging beautiful crystals all day then going for a nice soak surrounded by beautiful scenery...WHAAAT!!!??? 💎 ⛏♨️💜☺️

I’m always looking for nearly-tennis ball sized scepter crystals. I make wizard staffs from sumac saplings that I remove by the roots & the root system gives a base that i hollow out and plant that scepter end in there with Gorilla resin glue.
