Arkansas State Park-Mount Magazine

The next stop on our tour of Arkansas State Parks is Mount Magazine which is the highest point in Arkansas at 2,753 feet. It is located in Paris Arkansas.
Many scenic overlooks, hiking trails, picnic areas, a pavilion, and a visitor center with a gift shop add to the amenities at Mount Magazine.
The lodge at Mount Magazine feature 60 guest rooms and some include a balcony that’s perfect for stargazing!
There are also 13 cabins that share the same view as the lodge. There are one, two, and three bedroom options with fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces, and covered decks with outdoor hot tubs. They also offer 18 campsites on the mountain.
Skycrest Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and we were pleased with every meal we had there! The restaurant will seat up to 125 people.
The conference space can be divided into three meeting rooms or opened up for banquet style seating for up to 192 people. It is a beautiful setting for romantic getaways, weddings, conferences, and corporate retreats.
