So glad your wife is okay, that’s the main thing. Sounds like wet slick rocks are the source of your disdain for the “Natural State”. Not sure what your previous bad experience with Arkansas was. It just feels like you are giving my state a bad wrap, when it, nor the people did nothing to you guys (you actually speak well of the people…?). We already get overlooked by much of the country and bad publicity from you guys doesn’t help. Safe travels and God Bless!

Not sure how this channel got recommended to me but I’m glad it did. I feel you on not wanting to film things sometimes that’ll more real life and not just the fun stuff. I’m a storm chaser and the push to post any content outside of weather-related things just bothers me. I need my privacy and I don’t like the idea of people demanding I show them aspects of my life they don’t need to see. I’ve had falls while hiking and people just outright didn’t believe me for why I was AWOL on social media for over a week - because I had no photos from hospital, or from being airlifted out of a damn forest, it didn’t happen apparently. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Glad yer on the mend and I having been there with a fall like that, it definitely takes a while. I have to be more careful now as I’ve osteoporosis and a car accident in Barrie, Ontario (I’m in Canada) when I was camping there two years ago screwed my upper back up good, so I’m more prone to thoracic pain now just from sitting poorly. Definitely don’t take chances with back pain. I’d been camping outside of Barrie at the time, drove into the city to meet an online friend and get some stuff we forgot and wound up t-boned by a Jeep driving the wrong way on our way back to the campsite. I didn’t go to hospital, as my friend who was driving was too concerned with the stuff we had in the car and where it’d go (our tent attaches to the SUV and we brought important things with us rather than leave them in the tent) so I just stayed back with him and we wound up getting a hotel for the night so we could find a dealership in the AM to get another SUV, as it was day 1 of camping and we drove 12 hours. Definitely not something I’d play “fuck around and find out” on again as it’s only screwed me. 100000% applaud y’all for going. Excited to watch the next video (hoping no one got hurt) - that looks like that kinda mess I’d find myself in. I watch a lot of heavy tow KZbin channels and they do side content with some crazy-looking vehicles that usually wind up stuck somewhere (HeavyD Sparks and Diesel Dave for example) and it’s definitely up my alley lol

Maybe y’all need to say something nice about Arkansas. What y’all do has nothing to do with Arkansas.

@@JamesJackson-j4r we really appreciate all the love for Arkansas. We never expected so much backlash. This is a small channel, and it’s just some humor about other bad things that happened to us in Arkansas that our regular viewers know about. We had no idea the video would get so many new views and we don’t actually have any hard feelings about Arkansas.

@@TaltonOffroadTravel we have many off road groups here in Arkansas. Christian crawlers, ATV and 4x4. Is one of them. Don’t go out alone. We have groups running every weekend in the summer. Tag-a-longs are welcome. Come and enjoy the true outdoors of Arkansas in the right way. May God Bless your better choices. Arkansas is a great place to call home.

Yea Arkansas is one of those states for me that is good, but at the same time it's bad or can change with just a snap of your finger. I feel like every time I've gone through Arkansas something always happens. Example: We were going through Arkansas late (1am) and a family of deer were just hanging out in the road and.... well you get the picture. There was another time I was going to and from Bristol, TN and had to go through AK for the trip. On the way their a friend with us got a flat tire on his motorcycle. It felt like we spent the 1st day in AR messing around with tow trucks and tires. Then on our way back we nearing the end of AR, when all of a sudden the weather turned on us with a tornado going about just a few miles ahead of us. We were able to miss it, but it was just another thing I could put in my AR book of horrors. lol All in all AR is not that bad and they do have some fine nature preseves to visit and see.
