Just saw Arkells for second time in Oshawa (last in 2013 opening for The Hip). These guys are THE Canadian band for years to come. Great work by Strombo to put on and display what a talent this band is. Max and the boys give their all every night for the people who come to see them, and represent both the Hammer and our country well.

I came across this video almost two years back, having never really listened to Arkells much at all and fell absolutely in love with Max and all the bands energy. By chance I managed to get last minute tickets to see them, not even two weeks later at the sold out show in Buffalo, New York (Canadian writing here) from someone selling their tickets on the venues Facebook site!! Absolutely one of the best shows I’ve ever seen! February 22 2019. I’ve been a diehard Arkells fan ever since. Thanks so much for this video Strombo! Hopefully we’ll get back to this soon!
