Thank you Joe! As always you answered all the question I have on all the copes you reviewed. Arken customer service is outstanding!!! I bought the EP4 4X16. Like you said, I'm one of those older guys who can't see the damn dot to sight in the scope. I bought it back in Dec. 2019 after seeing your review. Finally got mount on my rifle and can't see the damn dot to save my life. I emailed Arken last week explained my issue to them. I got an immediate response from Mike Reilly on the same day offering me a exchange for the model you review above. Even that it cost less than the EP4 I paid for, at least I don't have beautifully build scope that I'll be using it for paper weight. Hey Joe, after watching your review on the Arken scopes and heard what Plinkster had to say about them I had to order one. Ordered the 6-24x50 MOA. Only 4 week back order and got it in less time than that. It’s exactly as you described it to the T. It’s one tough badass scope at a great price. Mounted it on my Ruger Precision Rimfire .22LR. Way more than pleased with it. Ready to tackle some long range shooting with it now. Now that I’ve used it and seen the true QUALITY of the ARKEN scope I’m ordering another one. Cyclops I primarily hunt hogs at night. I got my SH4 16X50 today. Did a little test to see how the lighted reticle works. At night and dark the entire reticle lights up on 5 and 6 with the center + is brighter in the center. Looks like it's going to PERFECT for shooting hogs under green lights. My Athlons tend to be TOO bright and makes the reticle too busy. When the rain breaks I'll let you know in a couple of weeks.

Enjoyed the vid/humor , I have had my EP-4 since August 2020 and so far ,Very good holding zero, Only have a 100 yd range ,But all rounds are touching if I do my job. 170 rds threw it so far. I have it on a Barrett M107A1 20 inch barrel 50BMG. Easy to set up.

Look at the scope's center at 2:46 - it's in the center of the bottom-orange circle. When you take it to the top-orange circle (2:59) it's in the center of that circle, but look at the vertical in the bottom-circle - it's off-center by ~0.25MIL.

Good luck. That 7-9 weeks is more like 6 months on average. They keep pushing dates back. Ordered mine on 3/19/2021 so I've got a ways to go yet. On the Arken forum guys are really complaining about the wait times for this Optic.

Joe, Another hilarious and amazingly informative review.You have become the Go To source for honest scope reviews on line. Don't want to put you the spot but got to ask ,as you have never bullshitted me about any thing. With "old eyes" and doing mostly back of the barn bench rest shooting out to 100 Yard with an FX Dreamline and wanting to upgrade to glass much better than rides on it now would you go with this Arken or pop the extra $80 and go with the Element Helix 6-25 X 50? Is the extra $80 juice worth the the squeeze ? Doubt I could go wrong with either scope but since this is a " One and done " for a while I'm on the fence on which way to go. The bug difference is the reticle . The EP4 has a VERY THIN reticle . So it can be a problem for old eyes like us

ok so I ahve pretty much concluded my research into a scope for the AR-10 .308 build I am doing. thanks to your reviews and some others I have watched I have pretty much concluded that unless something else comes up by the end of next year when I am done with the build I am getting that Arken 4x16. I wish they had the Vortex warranty but then who does...lol. Still its a lifetime warranty for defects at least and a huge discount if you donate to the Navy Seals foundation, which I woulda done anyway for the asking. Im gonna keep my eyes open though in case something comes up
