Joe been a follower for over a year. Thank you for your reviews. I have purchased the Bushnell engage 2.5-10. Awesome scope. Just got new air rifle and bought the US optics TS 12. That one however wasn’t impressed. I returned it and went for the Athlon Ares BTR gen 2. Your words Game changer

I've only saw one Valdada scope (Recon) and it was the best scope I've ever looked through. After the first of the year my Valdada fund starts getting funds put in it again. I just want a SFP for hunting. Great review as always Joe. Don't make Val send Guido out to collect the scope; send it back, we need you for great entertainment and reviews..

I made the mistake of shooting a rifle equipped with a Valdada G2 last summer and that was a paradigm shift in what I thought was great glass..... Val really has something next level inside his optics and I do plan on getting a G2 in the near future.

Went to the range today, shots fired using Valdada Recon G2, it was better than mate's spotting scop. Awesome scope. Only word I can think of is excellent. My wife says it is fxxing amazing.

Another great video Joe. Do you know of any mid-level scopes out there that have an elevation turret on the top, and windage and side-focus and/or illumation both on the right? I severed my left arm in half by all but a 1/2" left this year so I am more right-hand dominant than ever and looking for some handy options. One-handy options to be exact.

No man , I don't know of a single scope like that at all . I know the SWFA SS original series of Scopes have the focus where the power adustment is on other scopes. That would be the ones I would take a look at

I dont know either but it gave me an idea. Find someone who does 3D printing or do it yourself and create a business opportunity for yourself to help others in your situation. The idea: a throw lever that can clamp to the paralax knob then arch over the scope to the right side. With a little tinkering, you can find the right angles to get a full adjustment range then draw it out. I hope that helps. Since a regular magnification throw lever sells for around $30-$40, i bet this would sell for $65+/-. Not to gouge, but theres more material and would need to be a bit stronger. An alternative might be machined aluminum.

@@MrRockstar1968 I forget exactly how they term it, but you can use the reticle to figure distance...thus the same as FFP. Because it's fixed, everything is constant. I have a fixed SWFA 16X and I love it. Highly advise for long range precision shooting. Plus they're much cheaper.

@@bustabeans7917 I've never used a fixed magnification scope. One of my scopes is a SFP and can still be used to figure out the distance as on it's 24x magnification it is set to 100 yards and at 12x magnification you either half or double the mil dots and soon with the 6x magnification. Sorry I can't remember which was around it is. You can also use the parallax to help gauge the distance by setting targets every 5 or 10 yards or so and put stickers on the parallax wheel. I've also found it's best to stick to one of the magnification settings to set the parallax as I've found the parallax focus can be different depending on which magnification setting you're on, be it 6x, 12x or 24x.
