Official Arkham Horror 3rd Edition Show Notes The deck of numbered cards that may enter play is called the Archive. The display of currently active cards is called the Codex. For contests or tests, only 5-6 is considered a success. At least twice I said or played it as 4-6, which is not the case by default. 13:00 - Defeated monsters go to the top of the monster deck. 30:15 - The player 'respawns' with the new character and resumes play with the next action phase.
