@@livingrain Tbf, this has actually happened to IRL London at least twice. The concept of inviting a foreign army into London was probably inspired by the Glorious Revolution in 1688 where English Protestants deposed the King and invited William Prince of Orange, the leader of the Dutch, to bring his army into London to take over the throne due to an internal religious power struggle (although the IRL event was definitely not as extreme). The current House of Windsor is also a German, not English, family that was invited in to take the throne after William, his wife, and his Sister-in-law died instead of the “rightful heir”. If you’ve watched Vinland Saga, you might also know about the time way back in Saxon England where London hired Danish mercenaries led by Thorkell the Tall (who had earlier actually attacked London) to fight off the Danish army. The current storyline is probably inspired by the events of the Wars of the Three Kingdoms (England, Ireland, and Scotland) where Charles I was executed by parliament and his son escaped to another country, later returning as Charles II, combined with the later Glorious Revolution.

[SPOILERS] This is a very cool video, looking forward for more! Regarding Victoria here's a few bits of spoilers from next events - The World did notice Sarkaz shenanigans. Pope of Laterano's plan to create a Leage of Nations (Guiding Ahead) and Columbia's desire to accelerate the development of their defense industry (Dorothy's Vision) Just no one has the balls to face Londinium Artillery - The reason why other Dukes aren't seen responding is because there're an agreement between all of them after killing the King and his Steam Gundams that forbid them from entering Londinuim in any way and doing so is an act of wanting to claim the throne, thus war. So instead Dukes resort to sponsoring organizations like the Dublin or Eartha. (CH11 & What the Firelight Casts)

Got into Arknights this year and I loved this video. It's the best lore summary I've come across so far. It's literally is a world where you take all the dials of what can go wrong and turn them to eleven, but at least they have the LDA and cat-girls.
