Iam getting too emotional for this. This trailer was basically a mother telling her child that even in a the greatest sadness, in the darkest place, in the most tragic places, and in the most deserted lands where flowers is vague to see, their child is the joy that brings happiness, their light that brights their path, and the most beautiful flower that blooms.

After knowing more of Eyja alter the depression hits me more. Her alter name means white Ash in Icelandic, a possible reference for volcanic ash which is associated to Volcanoes where her parents disappear or it's to represent the ash made from corpes. Also according to Wiki Ejya Alter has the highest amount of blood- origium crystal density.

If anyone is wondering, Eiya has 0.5 u/L and her alter has 0.59 u/L. Cell-originium assimilation went from 8% to 11% and her endurance is stated as flawed.

Beautiful PV, that's for sure. The theme, scenes, character, even her voice is beautiful. But why a 6* operator got another 6* Alter version? From what I see and read, the community already proven her previous class, which is Caster, is busted enough. And now she got ANOTHER class, which is also proven by most content creators that her skills are busted too? What about the old operator from 4 years ago since the game started, like Fang, Vanilla, or Spot? (I just played this game for 6 months, maybe there's some lore I didn't know. But this doesn't sound fair at all to me).

I don't really know the exact numbers but isn't Arknights got so many operators to choose from for the Alter version? Unless there's a lore, related to the story, that she has to change her class to Medic, I can accept that. But with your reasoning, I can't say it's valid. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not here to bash Arknights or anything, I still like & need this game as a workout for my brain. It's just kind of questionable that a great unit, which was stated by the community itself, got another upgrade that's also great but no specific lore that proves the upgrade is necessary.

Giving Alter version to a unit that's already deemed as busted (from what the community told me about Eyjafjalla Caster version), and the new Alter version is even more busted, it's clearly not a fair treatment. Maybe give the better Alter version to units that felt underwhelming, like Siege or Vigil. And I mention those units based on what the community says about them, since I am still considered as a new player, whom has no say about which unit is good or bad. My experience on this game still lacks. If Eyjafjalla got the Alter version because it's from community votes as the most favourite unit, that's much more reasonable than suddenly applying upgrades without any lore or reasons.

Probably makes her a good contender for a summer alter since they tend to be more about summer sillies with beloved characters than telling a deeper story. But yes i fully agree with you about a siege alter! Would be really cool to see
