Ray at least need -2 - 5 more ammo when skill active - An increase in skill duration to 5 - 10 seconds - Chance to not consume ammo while skill is active

So for those who don't get it: Ray's overall damage output is low, but she has exceptionally high penetration. This is why she lost the first example, but won so hard on the second. The first boss has an insanely high health pool but zero defensive stats, while the second boss has a pretty mid health pool sitting behind the highest defensive stats in the game.

She is cute, she is a well designed balanced operator, she is fine, and she is coming... In a few months. Add to that, she already got a module now in CN, so maybe a few months after her release. What i think is that, while her module will not make those who plan to skip her reconsider, it will be worth it for those who decided to pull (and successfully pulling) her.

Based on what other comments said, "Ray have lower total damage than typhon, but have better penetration power and much quicker S3 cycle" Ray S3 is also a much better candidate for buffs compared to typhon (many multipliers and quick burst) on top of a very valuable crowd control (normally, a single target permabind for the entire S3 duration). Sadly, Ray is in a bad subclass, most notably is her horrible ammo gimmick. This is very evident when she can't wipe key target in 8 shots and become nearly useless afterward. Aspd buff can't help her either. So yeah, i can't answer how strong she is. If you want numbers you can go to her gamepress page, so its all depends on what you have, and how much are you willing to pull for her despite your roster?

term of boss-killing, ray might be better against tanky bosses but other than that it's...... Well... Technically she still below walter but at same place as typhon. It's based on whether if you can handle the ammo mechanic and its weird range, personally i prefer typhon since she has wider and longer range and can be fully afk(by the way i still consider typhon/biesieger's range weird but still better than hunter)

Out of the three I still prefer Typhon. Her range and ability to lock onto a target with her S3 is great and her S2 is great for general use as well.

Well if hunter class range is wider, i really wanted it, aside why ray can be better because they give her extra range, i doubt without the extra range it is hard to give hunter quite good position, the other two class has good range, that why i said believe me if ray dont get that extra range how she could done, so far hunter class have weird range

Tbf hunter is pretty much doomed at release even ray still hardly compete at some cases They have weird range and ammo mechanic which just make it worse. Ray obviously good because well she is ray

Ray doesn't do as much total damage as the other (Ray about 70k/skill, Typhon about 100k and W deal wisadellion damage :v) but she have better DPH and skill cycle. I'll definitely pull for her since operator with high DPH isn't as badly punished as operator that do high total damage but multihit

for some reason seeing a side by side comparison to wis'adel and typhon makes wis'adel seem comparatively balanced, but thats probably just on single target since typhon takes out entire patriot with one skill and wis'adel can probably wipe 3 patriots lined up to phase 2 and still survive the attack that throws the lances because of how those little turrets she deploys work
