Today I got Vulcan and now i don't know what to do with her, because her extremely high DP cost and "cannot be healed" sound really bad. Are you planning to make a video about her?

She cant be healed because she heals herself by a shit ton already.

Vulcan is fairly niche. She can be a solo lane defender because of her ability to heal herself with S1/S2, but she's less tanky than other defenders, and her high cost means she gets placed late, which is... not ideal for solo lane defense. She's also pretty good against Elites and Bosses, but frankly, any number of Operators do just as well or better (Specter, Skadi S3). TLDR; Vulcan can be very effective, especially with her sky-high stats, but is almost never the optimal Operator in a given scenario. Use her for waifu reasons. Source: E2 40 Vulcan user. EDIT: PS she can be healed by Perfumer's and Angelina's Talents (but not Sora's radius healing), but these are fairly low, so you have to keep an eye on Vulcan's hp during continuous wave pressure.

I liked the fact you spoke about SP synergies for S1. That's a complete review of Hellagur, thx for you work. Actually, i'm playing a SP team, BP Meteorite Lappland Chen, Angelina, Liskarm Warfarin; So Hellagur is a must have and you just show one good showcase for S1 so i'm quite confident in my choice now. (i will not overlook S2 tho).

In case some people can still see this Hellagur can’t be healed by most allies but he can be healed by Perfumer But he can only by healed by Perfumer’s talent, this can be observed properly with an E1 Perfumer and an E1 Hellagur(to scratch out Hellagurs self healing when not attacking at E2) just wanted to share this

Besides the obvious getting S3M1 for the range what's his typically used skills in CC to work on for mastery? S1 mastery only seems worth if you are going all the way up to M3 where the cost decrease kicks in. S2 mastery gives a nice increase to his damage. Sounds like S1/S2 are the ones mostly used for CC?

Actually, would it be possible to have a sort of CC preparation guide? I've heard stuff like "Magallan shines in the first CC" and "hellagur is great for cc" or "schwarz is a great boss killer for cc" but while there are general references for direct comparisons (like in the case of hellagur vs schwarz) otherwise it's really difficult to decide where to dump my resources There are also those existing ops such as Angelina who have been mentioned as being pretty important in the context of cc

yes i'd like to recommend changing the video title to *#Arknights** Operator Guide: Hellagur - Next Level Broken - Tensa Zangetsu!* because Kyōka Suigetsu, Aizen's bankai, manipulates the senses whereas Tensa Zangetsu, Ichigo's bankai, greatly increases his attack speed, similar to Hellagur's talent, Waxing Moon, Waning Star. Of course, there is also the similarity in Hellagur's traits referencing the moon, similar to Ichigo's zanpakuto.

Hey Dreamy recently after learning more about hellagur ive noticed that I started shitting on skadi because hellagur does most of her jobs but better, and my CN friends say that skadi is known as the "worst 6*", as hellagur does more dps and has more survivability than skadi, and utage, another CN unit is better than skadi at helidropping, but id like to humble myself and ask you your thoughts on hellagur vs skadi maybe you have a different opinion

The problem with Hellagur is that, if he's overhealing (which would actually happen alot, trust me, other Hellagur users has the same sentiment) is that he would look really underwhelming. Like you can test this once you get a Hellagur. Go to 5-10 CM and deploy Hellagur in front of Mephisto and still put a defender properly for the final slot to tank Faust's purple shots. Here's what will happen, even after so long in the stage, Hellagur would still not have killed Mephisto. Once the mages behind Mephisto dies, Hellagur starts to overheal himself and dish out shitty DPS. And this is true on paper, even a Flamebringer with S2M3 will outdps him. So what I'm trying to say is, Hellagur is amazing but he needs to be under harsh environment. And this environment cannot be too deadly nor too weak. It has to hit that good spot where he can still survive while taking alot of damage. That is where he becomes godlike. Skadi on the otherhand is very consistent at what she does. Obviously, she really cannot compare to Hellagur's peak performance and that is a fact. Then again, this means that in some stages, Skadi can still be the better pick if you need that consistency.

If you haven't realized yet, Matoimaru is the highest HP guard, and also highest HP operator with over 4800 HP maxed (1000 more than Hellagur). Of course her DPS can't even compare to Hellagur so don't do anything extreme.
