To answer your question, this is a (boss iirc) battle theme for Hortus de Escapismo, which Virtuosa does appear in, but in terms of sound it's closer to Stained (Executor's theme) which you've done before. The event very much goes with that kind of sound

yep "裁決日" i hope we get playable lemming soon. maybe when we get an event after path of life that invariably joins the laterano plotline with the seaborn plotline with aulus or smth

"The innocent man" This is a strange case, since in the story we never fight the boss of the event. It's a song for a boss named Gardener - a unique boss that we can't hurt and in turn he doesn't attack us, but rather, hypnotizes civilians that we are trying to save and leads them to a danger. Hovewer in the story The Gardener, pushed to the despair by the situation constantly turning for the worse, the ever-escalating conflict and the loss of his dear friends, finally sees an opportunity to stop this madness - and by the suggestion of Virtuosa ends his life in a self-sacrifice. He was never a villain or a mastermind, he was just trying to live his life in peace, while everyone else around him started drawing daggers and jumping to extremes, while he was helpless to stop any of them with a voice of reason. And as the life of that innocent man ended, it became a breaking point for the Executor, as he finally gave up on capturing and rightfully judging Virtuosa, and decided to kill her, as she was beyond redemption in his eyes.

@@ExceedProduction From my understanding, she's a bit... insane. Her Arts lets deepest desires of people who listen to her music out. On paper, that doesn't sound too bad... until you realize that those desires can be all sorts of things. And those people will chase them to no end.

You should read up on Hortus de Escapismo. It's a great story that explores faith, the conundrums of salvation and why paradise is never open to all. Although you need to read Guide Ahead beforehand to get the stance of the Lateran Church in regards to it.

I wouldn't say there's any particular character this is associated with. It's a boss theme, but even the boss himself is kind of deemphasized by the fight. It's a story of a place and the people living there.

woooo yessss thank you for getting to this. i love the buildup starting at 1:23 and the drop at 1:39. unfortunately the loop doesn't include the buildup without context, i like to describe the final boss (as a character) as "meek dude tries to assimilate into a hive mind but the hive mind realizes he's suicidal so they're like "no f u" so he just dies" said hive mind is the seaborn, which are central to the "under tides" and "stultifera navis" events i like to say the boss gameplay poorly described in one sentence as "suicidal dude tries to get civilians killed by indiana jones rocks and gaping holes in the ground" meme descriptions aside, this is actually the boss theme for the first event (hortus de escapismo) i experienced when i started playing arknights. the event itself introduced executor alter (whose theme is "stained" which you've already reacted to) as the main character, and is the precursor to the zwillingsturme im herbst event which introduced playable virtuosa. virtuosa could actually be considered an antagonist in this event. she has the ability to bring out the "true" emotions of people and she does this on the final boss (which is why he became suicidal) probably redundant since i included this in the previous comments, but i'd love to see "the opening" as well. thanks again for this reaction and analysis

I have to recommend Bloodstained Oath because it is very, very interesting and you have to see it, I don't want to reveal more, it's better that you surprise yourself.

This type of music is pretty standard for Laterano, which is where Virtuosa and Executor are from, that being a sort of church music with heavy electronic stuff

I recommend reacting to Crownslayer's EP - "Figure It Out", I really love it for it's vibes and it's sung by Edine, the same singer of Kristen's EP - "I will Touch the Sky"

In this event, one of the darkest events to ever be shown in Arknights occurs. A character, in exchange for the safety of his people, offers himself as a sacrifice to the church of laterano and is beheaded. The scene is a reference to the slaying of John the Baptist from the Bible, and in the event, much like the biblical story, his head is delivered on a silver platter. Its extremely disturbing. In fact this whole event was just very upsetting.

Another great reaction, as always. This one reminded me a lot of dance songs from, like, 2005-2010. I don't know why. Even hit the nostalgia, somehow. In any case, i would like to recommend to listen to "Floor it! To the Golden City" from Reverse 1999.

I really enjoy those Arknights reactions. But since i am early for once i might aswell recommend something not from Arknights. It would be really awesome if you could react to a Song from Granblue Fantasy. I am mainly looking at Paradise Lost here.
