I can't say I absolutely love all of the arkology skins and I do wish more of the were "open" color regions rather than static colors. However, that's a personal choice and I do appreciate the huge amount of work that went into them!

I was going to wait to get this mod to see how it interacted with paleo ark but.... Tigers and jaguars are my favorite animals. I worked with jaguars for 5 years, and I just took a job working with tigers. I physically cannot pass on this mod. Great spotlight, Becca. Might I recommend you spotlight Kaluga's Appalachian Denizens? It's become one of my favorite lesser known mods that adds some really nice variants, new models, and stat changes to creatures in the game.

The jerboa is super cute, love the red tips on the thorny dragon, super edgy looking. The moth is really pretty, absolutely love the wings! The additions of new alphas and world bosses is a nice touch! Gives a little extra on top of the different skins. Nice video!

while i would say i personally dislike the set colours thing on creatures like mantis, it still seems totally worth it with all the extra variation. imo its especially nice on the terror birds with the texture-switch on their faces, makes them much more nice to look at

No, although there is currently a growing demand for some sort of "cross-variant breeding" mod. I'm not sure if that's possible, but I hope someone figures it out

I hope someone makes a mod that makes all variant creatures, including modded ones, breedable with the normal and other variant counter parts. I would love to add this mod and collect all these cool critters but I want to give them my current stat lines

I'm not sure that'd be possible due to how CurseForge ships the mods, but I really hope I'm wrong!

My only issue with mods like this is they take up half the spawns but can't breed with vanilla. It is annoying finding a good 150 female then later finding a good 150 male only for one to be a cosmetic variant. I understand the variants that have bonuses not mating together but for cosmetics just let them breed and its a 50/50 which pattern a baby is.

Looks like they may not be compatible atm, due to how CurseForge handles mods But Depths and DragonHeart are friends, I wouldn't consider it impossible just yet. Hopefully someone figures something out!
