How to Tame a Tropeognathus the REALLY Easy Way

Hi everyone, if you want to know where to find a Tropeognathus on Xbox One and PS4, I have had several people say they found Tropeognathus on Extinction flying around the Sanctuary where Tapejaras normally spawn. I would personally recommend looking for wild Tropeognathus wherever you normally find Tapejaras on the normal maps. Tropeos may be a rare version of the already rare Tapejara spawn so don't give up, it may take a long time to find a wild Tropeognathus on console. You will have twice as much chance to get one if you increase the dinosaur spawn count on your game settings, but you will also get twice the bad dinos too. Also, here are the Tropeognathus controls for PS4 (Thank you Skyler Mondragon for the info): Activate the Jet Engine: Click R3 Stick To go faster Click L3 Stick and hold X To Stop Jet Hold R3 Stick down To backflip Click L3 once

I'm actually taming a Tropeo 130, dododex is saying 5min between each feed with sheep meat, but it took me 35min before I could see that he didn't want to be feed, and thx to your vid, I knew it was the right time to chain bolas and feed him again and now 21min... But I have it

Yes, PS4 has temp and ppl have mutation, 600 plus melee already! I actually have 3, I will clone each before getting stupid!

Actually it looks like Tropeos can spawn anywhere Tapejaras can, they're just SUPER rare. Several viewers have confirmed they found Tropeos in the Sanctuary of Extinction, which is one of the better places to find Tapejaras or tropeos.

On Consoles however, it will appear on other maps until its map releases, and will spawn at a max two per map, after which they will only be strictly exclusive to that map. you can find them pretty frequently on extinction (in the city). since they share the same spawns as tapejaras, you'll wanna clear them out first. do that for a bit and eventually they'll start showing up.

Trap does not work on Xbox, the tropeo snuck right through the side of the trap

Oh man so sorry to hear that! Which trap did it escape? If the gates are lined up close enough to each other there shouldn't be any way for them to get out. If you add pillars to fill the gaps, your trap should be inescapable though. Let me know if you end up taming it!

Ark: Survival Guide It was actually my mistake, the trap I built was incorrectly built, I did tame it and it is very fun to fly around on. Awesome video with great info about the tropeo, saved a lot of my time of research
