Sucks that FDev have basically let this Thargoid story reduce into "new thing, shoot thing". It could have been really damn interesting.

daaaaamn it looks like a map of some sort.... do we already know all there is of this structure? or are there still secrets to be found?
@donjuan61185 жыл бұрын
It's definitely a star map of some spiral galaxy like the Milky Way, if it isn't in fact the Milky Way. The only other local galaxy that remotely looks like that is Triangulum.
@peoplez1293 жыл бұрын
@@donjuan6118 My guess is it's merely a map of the systems they populate, effectively showing how expansive they are. Maybe even a more early map of the galaxy in its early stages, to show how ancient they are, that they've been around for a long time.

Thank you very much, CMDR. Very detailed information. Did you get any kind of blueprint from this? Looks similar to the Thargoid Riddles. And those "Sentinels" seem buggy, they dont really care for you at all. I will check this out immediatly! o7

You receive audio logs that are triggers for a binary code. The Thargoid Links from the site interact with the audio logs when played for them in normal space. Playing the audio log while in front of the link's transmission cone will play out an audio file containing a three level binary code for X, Y, and Z coordinates. Converted to decimal and factored into the origin coordinates of the audio log, you are given a set of coordinates that leads to another thargoid surface site. A full list of discovered thargoid sites is available courtesy of Canonn. All of them were found using this method. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1G79y2Sg-7lU8BDIpM_N0-mnS6BFqhe4va648J1wwnag/edit#gid=1625079279 Sadly, all of this was quite an exciting gold-rush of thargoid activity over a year ago and is no longer relevant.

I'm struggling so much to find a thargoid probe
@Arleer1585 жыл бұрын
It can be very very frustrating. I have sometimes spent 4 hours in and out of NHSS's Threat 5-8 and not gotten a probe and just gave up for the night. It is technically a bug, they should be a 100% spawn in NHSS 0 or 2 orbiting ammonia worlds, however since 3.3 those no longer occur at all.

@@Arleer158 i agree since the new update i cant find any at all. I keep going to non human signals trying to find one but i simply get attack or find useless cargo.
@C.I...4 жыл бұрын
Any new ways to do it? I'm stuck without one as well. I did see a sensor in a NHSS threat 5 after several hours, but I already have one of those. I also tried the cargo bays of an attacked science megaship, with no luck either.

I was thinking the same, they build or grow these huge structures and let them fly to a planet and land then go dormant. for what reason I don know but it can be in preparation for an invasion or maybe as outposts to help Thargoids find their way home?
