Yeah moving that direction. Although hearing the ref call for looez to keep his head up while he was making a defensive move was quite annoying . A rule thats really not needed in amateur boxing

This was amateur though. It seems amateur Olympic boxing has ended for IBA, so they probably have no choice to turn pro or do both, if they've lost Olympic boxing permanently. Although I think they still do the amateur world championship. Olympic boxing is confirmed for the next 2 Olympics, and I guess the IOC will DIY it. Can't be any more corrupt than Olympic boxing was under IBA - especially when they removed the real-time scoring, so as to hide the fix.

They both boxed really well. Kraus moved assertively, but was surprised the cuban was able to dodge and get in with shorter reach

Good call. Gradus won that. Better combinations, more volume, aggression, bigger shots. Commentator let's us know he loves Cuban style haha..

There is no point of those “better combinations” if they are going into guard, cuban Arlen is capable of a lot more combinations it is just not wise to punch air
