Yes the struggle is real, trying to get people to understand what ambient/ guitar soundscapes are. I really like your sound and your approach, please keep it and your sound going. I say this as a 60 year old man who makes the same sounds, I am always hearing in the nature and my surroundings patterns of sounds. These sounds keep me alive and help me to create my music.

How did you get the loop to be seamless? When i've tried looping these ambient textures I don't know how to get rid of the clipping that happens when the loop stops and starts at the beginning again... Any help much appreciated!
@DasRightfortyforfo4 жыл бұрын
What I find helps is to make sure you are already playing and hearing the reverb/delay when hitting record for the first time. Otherwise you start with a dry signal and get that classic "restart" clipping.
@jsommer70473 жыл бұрын
You know the silent loop proces? It helps a lot. Make first a silent loop for as long as needed. When playing now soundscapes over it they never end/cut Hope that helps

That's outstanding! Amazed by this. Wonderful sound and playing man! Something spiritual here...Love it! Did you use the Fender amp in background? I'm looking for a great tube amp (little combo wattage) to do my basic clean sound and add pedals. What do you suggest? Fender blues junior?
@arliliberman66758 жыл бұрын
Oh thanks so much man!! i really appreciate your kind words! yeah re amps I'd suggest to save up for a fender twin blackface reissue 65' it's the most flexible amp for pedals in my view :-) instagram.com/p/BFiaMb0CoIu/?taken-by=arliliberman i use 2 (stereo) for my life set up. if you want something smaller maybe go for the Fender Blackface Princeton (simple is best) thanks A

Great demo. I really appreciate you taking the time to share it. I do have a question. I really love the percussive sound you are getting by hitting the guitar. Is there anything special you are doing to get that, or is it just the proximity your hand taps the guitar on or near the pickup. Jon Gomm does percussive taps on his guitar, but it is acoustic and he actually has a mic inside the guitar as well as a piezo pickup and another pickup.
@Arliliberman7 жыл бұрын
hey wow thank you so much! yeaah i took the time to develop and refine this percussive sound (still do) I use and hormonic Generator (HOG2) so i expose some low-end + boster & reaverb so its sound big and dynamic..

This is fantastic man! I've been playing around with various loop ideas for years on the old RC-50 I've got and love experimental ambient stuff like this. Is there anywhere I could go to look at the various other pedals you've got set up in this?? I'm especially wondering what kind of config you used to be able to create that awesome percussion sound with an electric guitar? Sounds GREAT!
@Arliliberman7 жыл бұрын
thank you so much!! made my day! percussion: i use staked hum-bakers and i look for the sweet spot to hit the string for the "bass dream " and the "snare" one i found it i just add booster reaverb and a lil bit of low end from my HOG 2 :-)
