This was the first I ever heard of Arlo. The lyric "eating parma violets on the way back from therapy" really stuck with me. When I was in therapy for severe depression and suicide, I'd eat spicy Doritos on the bus home. The spicy heat and crunch was a way of getting back into reality and away. Thank you Arlo for making things a little easier for me. This and the whole Collapsed in Sunbeams album are like a mini-lifeline for me.
