Couldn't you focus more on the shoulder pressure to get a more barotoplata kind of pressure.i feel tough guys wouldn't tap to this. I have a similar body to you. I find back control very challenging.i find I'm expending too much energy to keep it and my hooks slip off too easy. Sorry got over eager, really nice kimura

The angle on the arm being attacked is tight enough (if you hit it right) that it doesn't take much movement to get a tap. If someone has super flexible shoulders they can survive any shoulder lock, but being tough won't get you out.
