This video reminds me of my first girlfriend of over 50 years ago. Disabled since birth and with a slender frame. she was taught three things. 1. To stop the pin on the word go. 2. To hold the pin. 3. To start the pinning down of her opponent. She became a champion but only because she was taught in the right way to begin with.

@@LeahRobb Indeed she was. Now in her early 60*s shelives in the former East Germany. I believe with childern and grandchildern. Here in the U.K. we had two major muti-sport programmes on a Saturday Afternoon between 12.15 p.m. and 5.15 p.m. Soccer [Football as Europe calls it] Horse Racing were the two major sports. The B.B.C. bought up all the major U.K. sports rights. This meant I.T.V, had minority sports. One saturfay afternoon I.T.V,s World of Sport had the rights to show the 1973 U.K. Women*s Arm Wrestling Championships from Wembley near London,An all female event in front of an all female audueince. In the final a 14 year old girl Arm Wrestled well and won all her matches but in the final she panicked started crying and lost to the equally good 54 year old winner. Sadly the 14v year old girl had her arm broken.It happened on a Monday and because World of Sport was produced by L.W.T. London weeken Television] transmitted 6 days later on Saturday. Owing to ther Arm Break I.T.V. never broadcast an Arm Wrestling event in the U.K. Just two events from A.B.C*S Wide World of Sports in Americia. Our local Disabilty school saw the event and this is how my first girlfriend and myself got into Arm Wrestling in the first place.Over 50 years ago. P.S. The Arm Break was never shown but the event with it being all women the fans and the Arm Wrestlers themselves was great and for 1973 why ahead of it*s time in the promotion of Women*s sport particulary here in the U,K, To conclude. Indeed she is. In 1973 here in the U.K. The I.T.V. World of Sport programee broadcast the 1973 U.K. Women*s Arm Wrestling Championships at Wembley near London. All female competors in front of an all female audence. Sadly in the final match the 14 year old girl had her arm broken by her 54 year old oppoient. As this was on a six day time delay it wasfaded to black. But for myself and my first girlfreind we and our schoolwas hocked on the sport over 50 years ago. Many thanks for all of your videos.

Without a restraint, you risk tearing your elbow ligaments. Is this your first time in arm wrestling?

A restraint? I've been arm-wrestling for 1 1/2 years. The lady I armwrestled is not an armwrestler but does train weights. I hope I didn't endanger her elbow but I was not about to tear mine.
