There's something really elegant in flying transports rather than gunships. Years ago I was a big fan of doing it in Halo Reach with the dropship there and later Battlefield's Bad Company 2 and BF3/4 entries. My favourite tactic in BF4 before a mid-life patch changed the objective markers was taking a Huey Venom from spawn directly over one objective on a car park wedged between two high-rises. Ludicrous banking, dropping off five guys and then just being a mobile spawn point darting over the top of the objective, too fast to hit. Great times.

+Dr. Strangebeat They don't recenter when left loose in real life. You always have your feet on the pedals anyway, and where the pedals are is a direct result of your relative pressure on each. But they don't snap to center, which I believe is what you're asking.

Smaller target. More maneuverability. Precision LZ. And since each group could fit on the little bird there's not much use for anything bigger/slower. Given the choice I would always choose the littlebird.

+felipegames12 I have a similar system and I use ultra in single-player/editor and a mix of very high or high in multi-player (you want to change your view distance depending on what map you're using though)

felipegames12 There's no way you can run Arma at 60fps unless your view distance is at about a kilometre, or if you play on Takistan I'd recommend playing Takistan since I can play it pretty much on ultra at about 3.7-5.5km view distance

I have a 970 and a 4970k. You can crank most of the graphics options to max/very high. View distance is my main issue, you might consider a script/ mod to change your view and object distances for foot, vehicles, helos, and planes. 1-2 is fine for foot, but if you're doing some "pro sniping," adjust to taste. Also, play with some of the post processing. I find you don't get much more bang for your buck between medium and high.

+Travis Jordan - The AI tend to shoot when they think they'll be effective. It's a factor of how the vehicle is configured and how the AI skills are set. Bigger helo, moving slower, take more fire. Smaller, faster - less.
