@@theycallme4799 nah there are hit reg issues on 128 pop servers (which is why official servers have lower pop) i have survived runs across the street which i shouldnt have survived

Yesterday , I accidentally joined a German server. And I knew it was a German server because someone was making a speech back at the main operational base I was playing as the Russians. But yeah, even though I did not understand one thing, he said me and the boys felt riled up to kill some Americans.

Been fan of the series since the first Flashpoint game, skipped ArmA 3 tho and did not play it that much because it had all the flaws that plagued the series since the day one as you said and I had enough of it. THIS however, got me hooked so much that I had to upgrade my GPU after 2 days just so I can play enjoy it more and crank up the damn beauty. The multiplayer experience is like non other.

Operation Arrowhead has more units, vehicles, aircraft and editor depth than Reforger, I miss that I could throw scripts together to improve the vanilla game without mods. Large mods reduce the likelihood of people joining various servers due to having to download large amounts of data to do so on modded servers. And people are out of line more, Arrowhead provided some onscreen HUD elements that would reflect your orders for beginners.

Now every pc player should enjoy Arma with this new 5000 series RTX. Maybe the 5070 that they claim is better then the 4090. 😊

Are you implying Reforger is unplayable on lower tier hardware?

@ I have a 3080ti and I have to cut down some of my graphic settings to get 70-75 frames. With the new RTX you can buy a lower card and get greater frames. In other words you’ll still be happy and enjoy gameplay with a lower settings but it’s nothing like putting everything on ultra and playing this milsim as it meant to be played as a Pc player.

@@MPSB12 thought you were comparing the pc to the ps5 version. It plays so nice at 1440p on my undervolted 3080 (some lowered settings but still beautiful), that having a go on the ps5 feels choppy as hell. Unfortunately I have the dreaded scratching sound bug on the pc version 😑

@ The Pc version sound is great. You need to check your sound card or onboard sound. Uninstall the drivers. if that don’t work set you GPU to its default voltage.

@@MPSB12 nope. Reforger does not support DLSS at all, so new RTX card frame gen does not help a bit. However you can use Lossless Scaling framegen already with any card.

It's $40, is there content now or are they banking on the the players to make the content? Last I played it there were like 4 vehicles and the ai couldn't even drive them. I was not happy.

Its being carried by mods and community. And the current issue is there isnt enough community modded servers to keep up with the players so your stuck in que for a long time.

The official content is terrible, but the modded content makes it great. I have decided to now ditch Path of Titans for this, from a game that went too arcade to this realistic game is a breath of fresh air

Okay, this might be a dumb question. I can't find an answer, though. Does this run your CPU hot like HLL? I can't play HLL because my i7 gets too hot. I don't want to invest in Arma if it's going to be the same.
