Hi Ken. I have one question maybe you can help me? I put TASK RUSH waypoint and put in Completion radius: 500m for example(Doesn't really matter is it 0,100,500 or 1000m its always the same problem). After the enemy group is wiped out, my AI team is standing over some dead enemy body in circle, and they are not proceeding to next waypoints? I hope you understand. Any help how can I make that my AI team consider a dead enemy group as a finished waypoint, and not just standing above their dead bodies in a circle? I am not some scripter, but maybe it's some expression I should type into waypoint... I don't know. Other than this, I am completely happy with LAMBS. Thanks.

For "Guard", don't you have to use a Trigger area with "guarded by ..." for them to actually react and guard that location or try to take it (back) if captured by the enemy? Or does the AI without that just guard certain POIs? Or just the local area where the guard waypoint is placed?

So that is a good question @TiberiuS. By setting the unit to a GUARD waypoint they will react to detected enemies. By defining Guarded positions (by trigger or script command) they will move to those areas _when they are not reacting to enemies_. Both can be used to good effect :)

Hello, that looks super interesting but you raised an issue about the ai, they would be somehow omniscient and for the scenario it s not something always wanted. Why don t you use a waypoint where they are going to seek hunt or rush the position or the area around the marker?

Because that's not how the script is written. :) You can fix it yourself with two lines of code

Can this be used alongside MGI to make them spawn continuously with the same waypoint?

Not familiar with MGI. But yeah, the same can be accomplished with a super simple script

Outstanding, just what I have been looking for, it's great. However, it would be even greater if I could figure out why when I place [this] execVM "fn_taskRush.sqf"; ....which is exactly what is on the screen into the init box of either a unit or a group I get the following message. Init:Type Script, expected Nothing .......it doesn't help being a code noob tbh.

Have you put the script file into the mission folder? If unfamiliar terrain, go grab LAMBS Danger.fsm from the workshop. It comes with the same (and better) functionality with an easy to use module system. :)

@@KenMikkelsen I have indeed placed the script into the mission folder and although I still don't know why that bit of code won't go into the init of the unit or group I have however since found a work around. Name a unit e.g. auto1 and then in the init.sqf of the mission enter [auto1] execVM "fn_taskHunt.sqf"; This works and you're scripts run great.
