pronunciation is based on the native tongue and thus there is no "proper/correct" way to pronounce it. If you are from a Germanic native language group you pronounced it as Oy-gen and Yuu-gen for those English native language. But if you wanna nitpick and being a purist (doubt that though... most of the people knew that kind of pronunciation is from certain Ship-collecting games)I can't stop you.

The Prinz Eugen crossed the English Channel together with Gneisenau and Scharnhorst. Additionally they were protected by destroyers, E-Boats and the Luftwaffe. First and foremost due to luck they passed several British patrol lines before they got detected in the Channel. Whilst they were crossing the Channel the ships got attacked by hundreds of airplanes, a whole bunch of torpedo boats, destroyers and coastal artillery, but none of those caused much damage. What caused major damage were mines, both Gneisenau and Scharnhorst were damaged by mines.

Bought the eugen long ago before the heals were in place. Most survivable cruiser on a good map and even in bad ones u can live a lot longer than anyone else. I usually end up saving some DDs ass with my glorious belt armor. Ofc sometimes they torp me when I’m saving them but that’s fine.... this ship is for people who like to be the main protagonist and play for the objective. Hydro makes you good with pushes and Def AA makes you perfect to escort ships with shit AA. Guns are less than ideal. Only 8. But German railguns can punish even the le terrible. Btw if you see something show broadside load AP and spam their ass. You won’t get citadels, but you will get pens. Torpedos are not the best, but German engineering makes the tubes traverse at an amazing angle. Overall much suggested, makes roughly 130k credits without premium in PvE, and easily doubled if playing pvp and have premium.

13 seconds was actually a great reload time for 8" guns, during WW2. Most took 15-20 seconds per reload. (Not counting the later, US Mk16 8"/L55, which only took 6sec/round)

The existence of Prinz Eugen makes Hipper feels really weak when comparing them side by side. Hipper may have Better rate of fire but is literally just glass in the current Meta without any repair party , same consumables as the eugen and just mediocre Armor to defend itself.

You do know that Prinz Eugen Is the Admiral Hipper Class right? Not all ships may have same armor or speed even in same class... You can blame that to the crew. In game, isn't it obvious? Why someone want to play a same ship just with different name? Well since it was a premium ship, you can get it instantly... (Of course if you had money) Long story short, balance. They do that for balance.
