Stopped by the shop in Bellville, TX this past Friday - despite it being close to closing time & the weekend getting started, John greeted me at the door and he & Sam then gave me a full tour of the shop, highlighting the materials used (primarily locally sourced, excluding some of the basic smaller hardware components), hi-tech machinery used in the process - including the state of the art laser welder - and their incredibly sturdy yet lightweight hardtops in various stages of completion. They and the team members we met along the way couldn't have been nicer nor more knowledgeable, fielding many, many questions for me over the ~30 min walk-thru. Put my order in yesterday for the slant-top using the very easy & intuitive website. Looking forward to getting it installed!

@@armadillodesigns im pretty certain I’m going to, would love to see an squareback in the black powdercoat to help me make a final decision between the two. The digital mock up just doesn’t do it for me, seeing the raw one was nice though. Also any images of window options?

How easy is to to fully remove if I wanted to completely remove the top for a total open air feel?

All of the gullwing doors, roof panels and rear door are removable so you don't need to fully remove the top. But if you would like to, it's just as simple as removing the OEM hardtop as it ties into similar factory mounting points.

How would you think this hardtop would fair in winter with snow and ice?

Can you drive with only one top panel or do they both have to be removed?

Yeah you can drive with either one on, they latch into the roof separately so you can have either the front or back one on at a time
