My honest opinion: This one smells nothing like CDNIM. No harsh opening. This is a very smooth opening. Sweet l, at the same time spicy. Well blended. Juice quality is awesome. I can see some similarities with Sauvage elixir for the first 4 to 5 hrs and then dry down is very similar to CDNIM Parfum version. Actually I am enjoying elixir and CDNIM here. Worth every penny✌️

I think you need to let it sit for several weeks to macerate and then come back to it. The scent profile and performance will improve significantly.

@@archiewinney7622 ya it happens a lot and is especially true with any kind of middle eastern fragrance. After the bottle has sat for a few weeks or even months it gets way better in terms of smell and performance.

@@archiewinney7622yes it’s legit. Just buy the swill for $20, spray once, hate it, but then-like a wine collector-cellar it in a temp controlled space for about a year. Then it will smell passable. In the meantime, grab one of your 650+ clones that’s macerated long enough for the time being.

I know, right? 😅 It's so weird to me, I know Ash from GentsScents spoke very highly of it, as did Cubaknow and Ross/TLTG - their reviews are what got me hyped for it! These are all reviewers whose tastes are generally similar to mine and whose opinions I often agree with. That's why I was so surprised by how much I didn't like it! Everybody likes different things, I suppose 🤷‍♂
