All 'dem UNT (University of Texas) boys is badass!! His action is super low and he plays really light. The volume on the bass is cranked, though. I know some people that knew him when he was a teen, and they say he comes up with a lot of his musical ideals while he's playing live. In other words, he doesn't "practice" the shit for a long time, then go out and play what he practiced :-) Amazing...

@LRW74 as sad as it sounds...alot of stuff nowadays is not about how you play but about how you look as well... Are you marketable and so forth. Gary wants to be himself and dress the way he likes and play the way he likes. Sucks to not get the credit he deserves but I'm sure he is chillin'
