Armageddroid was a soldier with no war to fight, and thus no purpose. So he made a new war under the his own warped view of his mission. The creation of Jenny rectifies this flaw in logical processing, goes further by instilling in her the creed of a hero.

I think the second, is not he chose do that he was made for it, and his Ai not have the level to chosee or overcome his own programación. Is the same reason xj8 is most powerful than Jenny, but she was made as the final version, because her can do and be more than for she was made. Either way is interesting think what all the siblings(plus the exokin) could become is the can upgrade themselves. Maybe they plan explore this with Melody in season 4

Armagedroid was always one of my favorite villains on the show precisely because he was well-meaning. Mr. Freeze is an example of a non-MLAATR villain I like for the same reason (plus all of his horrible puns in Batman and Robin when Arnold Schwarzenegger played him). In a way, I actually think Armagedroid is a good lesson in the dangers of pacifism: it always leads to much greater evils than it tries to prevent. Does any American today seriously think that the continuation of slavery was worth it to prevent the violence and bloodshed of the Civil War? Or Nazi dominance of Europe (and probably much of the world) was worth it to prevent WWII? As tragic as it is, war and conflict are simply a fact of human existence--they always have been and always will be. But there are legitimate instances where violence becomes a necessity. It's awfully hard to "give peace a chance" when there are evil people in the world who won't do likewise.

I think that you’re a bit too much on the necessities of violence. I think the point is more the contrast between Jenny’s AI and the droid’s. Jenny’s biggest strength is her human judgment skills and intuition, things that Armageddodroid lacks. Jenny’s biggest asset is that she’s not “just” a machine.

Tbh, bringing up the civil war and ww2 are faulty examples. Armmegedroid is there to prevent violence. These two examples had violence before both wars. You bring up pacifism, but slavery and the Nazis had nothing to do with pacifism.

Armagedroid wasn't necessarily bad, but he was seen as an antagonist by the many because though his function sounds like it would benefit the greater good, it would not. He has harmed people in the process while destroying weapons. One time, he spotted a baby in a high chair eating with a fork, and he used his wire-y arms to grab the fork and nearly squashed the baby. Without Jenny there to save the kid, he would have been hurt. To destroy all weapons in an attempt to make a peaceful planet is a noble intention, but if you're killing people in the process of making world peace then what is the point? You defeated your own purpose. You yourself are a weapon, and by Armagedroid's logic, should be destroyed; Jenny convinced him of that and he basically mutilated the hell out of himself. Every mechanical part obliterated piece by piece. So was he good? Yes/kind of, BUT his actions said the opposite. Also, according to Rob Renzetti Jenny would not consider any of her long lost brothers as "family" because they are evil especially that vengeful Li'l Acorn. That's a story for another day, though.

Not gonna lie... They could have brought him back after his revival by Killgore. Where Nora's competitor decided to try to best her by IMPROVING him after finding his main systems survived Puts his code on more advanced machinery, but said code escapes onto the internet. Where Jenny finds out about when important systems start going down, has to plug herself in. Traveling the internet herself in code format, to find him and contain him. But when she does he actually learned things along the way, became more... Human as it were. Jenny manages to convince him to not harm humans anymore, he decides to try to learn from her example and try to be more heroic, thanking her and calls her his little sister. Then have a scene at the end of the episode where a computer screen turns on in a garage. Said garage being Sheldon's, why? Because Armagedroid wanted to be more heroic, what better place to start then to getting a new body a heroic body. Maybe he would even act as an AI inside of the Silver Shell's suit, working along side Sheldon much like Jarvis to Iron Man.

Late, and you're correct, but I wouldn't call him dumb. Single minded? Absolutely. But also you have to think, how would the writers be able to stop him? He's damn near unstoppable. Jenny is the most advanced weapon/AI/robot on the planet. She's literally his successor and the best bet to beat him, and what did he do? He killed her, not just beat her, but straight up beat her down, ripped her to pieces, and killed her all the while treated her like a nuisance at best and an annoyance at worst. As a writer you can't do anything but outsmart him 8n a simple logic puzzle because you can't out force him.

It's probably a dumb fan theory but really, I like to imagine that Vexus was actually made by Nora with the intent of making a sort of "Outer Space Deterrent" against Aliens after the failure of Armagedroid. It's cliche sure but like, why else would Vexus be arguably an equal to Jenny. Bio-robotics? Well if that was the case and all of Cluster Prime are living organisms, how could they blame Jenny for stealing their ability to transform by removing their chips? Wouldn't it make more sense that Cluster Prime was meant to be a station to protect humans from aliens, only for Vexus to turn on Nora because she saw herself better than humanity, decidint to use Nora's creations against her by brainwashing them into believing not only that all humans were inferior, but that Jenny was responsible for the removal of their chips that were already an integral part of their designs. In my head I get why "evil character is actually main character's sibling" is a boring idea, but with the open endedness of Cluster Prime's origins, the only real other ideas there could be are aliens invented cluster prime, a different scientist created it or they're just alien robots that are biorobotic and somehow had their powers chips from them without ever seeing what the person that did this to them looked like.

There will all ways be weapons in some form or other, since just about anything can be a weapon. He'd probably end up concluding that all mankind needed to be destroyed, then concluding all of nature must be destroyed. Since most life has some form of natural weapon, either for defence against predators or to kill their prey. Which then leads to exsistance as metirs and comets can destroy if they impact on any thing, and so on and so on in a never ending cycle of his programing. This said he was a good foundation for the SJ series, lessons learned from each model until at last we have our own much loved Jenny. At least that's what I think anyway, heh! ^_^

It's funny how awesomely powerful robots designed for justice turn destructive and dangerous simply due to faulty programming leading them to discover one tiny little technicality that gives them the right to go against their protocol. There's gotta be a way to fix that. I mean, the easiest solution would be to give it real emotions and a sense of right and wrong and ethics which you would think would be impossible to program. But now I ain't so sure after watching this show and Ninjago

He'd have to destroy rocks, fists, gangs, and ultimately all humans. A world without weapons wouldn't guaruntee peace, it would simply guaruntee that only the strongest and most brutal would rule, and lay claim to whatever sinful desire creeps out of their stone hardened heart. A grandma in a wheelchair doesn't stand a chance against 3. Dopped out thugs in there prime, but you give her a shotgun and she becomes a vastly different opponent. You could watch Innocents Betrayed, a long historical documentary pointing out exactly how every major genocide of the 20th century was able to take place (outside of Rwanda), or just watch something fun like the classic Lone Ranger series or the anime series Trigun. Or a bit of Colion Noir and Ian Mccollum to realize just how unobtainable that dream would be. Especially with a kaiju sized automaton that can only ever be in one place at one time. The worst part would be that before people would illegally obtain or create a weapon that is so precise it can only hurt or kill one person at a time, they'd just make a large explosive that is completely indiscriminate in who it would hurt and the immense property damage it would cause. Humans produce a naturally explosive compound in their wast that makes up 1/3 of the recipie for all propellants used in firearms with the other two for black powder being found abundantly in nature. Potassium Nitrate, sulfur oxide, and a carbon source like charcoal is all it takes. This mechanical hero turned menace is good as a classic comic book hubris trope, just like Ultron, but he had gone beyond the acceptable parameters of his mission and would only bring about more evil than good. It would have been anotherthing entirely to target the criminally insane element of humanity, but punishing everyone would just lead to the inevitable conclusion of having to dismantle humanity when it's shown that our bodies are weapons.

To be fair, I wouldn't really call this robot a villain. Unlike pretty much everything else, this robot wasn't sadistic, or trying to invade, or anything like that, it simply was a less advanced robot, only capable of doing what it was programmed to do. It was programmed to destroy weapons, and that's what it did. If the programming was simply ALIEN weapons, then he wouldn't be a threat.

I have to let my Marvel Fanboy out for a sec XD for the ultron comparison it should show Hank Pym the first Ant-man not Tony as in the original comics he built Ultron not Tony so if Armagedroid is based on Ultron it be the comic version since the movie came out years after the eps. Was never a big fan of Tony making him.

I was aware of that too, but Age of Ultron is way better known than the source material. Just a quick point in the video, didn’t want to get sidetracked!
