Great DJ, great little Set, I would say great venue but mambo and Ibiza died a long time ago when they made it more about what you look like, what drink you are drinking, what brands your wearing, how many photos you take and post, how many likes you get. Gone are the days when people genuinely went there to party properly, wear something comfortable, shades on and dance the night away, till early hours, pure love in the air, making friends with randoms hugging it out with high fives all round. No one cared for selfies, champagne, sparklers in drinks, sitting at a table you paid a months wages on just to look cool. Nothing cool about sitting at a table😂 I do that all day long at work. Space was open 22hrs a day and was a special iconic place that will never be replicated. Manumission at privilege, super clubs that were what ibiza was all about. I'm made up I got to experience these times, I know things evolve with the times and there will be the generation now that thinks ibiza is amazing because this is the ibiza they have experienced and I can't argue with that. But it is and will not ever be what it was.

Partying on the rocks outside Cafe Mambo was very different and very much closer to Ibiza’s roots than the Marbella part 2 that it has sadly become. Everything changes, which also means there are plenty of other places to party that are way superior.

It's not good enough to be a good Dj. Seldom does a Dj rise to prominence from the merit of his/her mixing skills. Producing your own material is the way in. It's got to be pretty good too, there's a lot of music about.

I want to start this comment by saying I’m a huge fan of his production work and have been for a long, long time; so long in fact that I have “Witch Doktor” on vinyl. That said, his DJ sets are just morphing into each other now - it’s literally the same tracks in every set now, and more often than not in the exact same order…..and that’s before we talk about the bad mixing. It just screams lazy….
