Synchronising Drive Home/Early with the actual sunset is exactly what has fuelled my soul for so many years. I intentionally listen to Chicane's ambient and atmospheric tracks when I take off on plane or travel through the countryside by train when I expect to see something that takes my imagination. This is the Ibiza I long for-the old-school vibes, magic, and charm of the music that made the island what it is today. Thank you, Chicane, for this incredible Balearic Trance set. I wish the island's superclubs embraced trance in all its forms more. I've been numerous times over the last 7-8 years, hoping to find the magic of old that so many trance folk from the 90s and early 00s remark about. It's generally not found in Ibiza anymore. Ibiza has become a big EDM/tech fest. The crowd at Mambo's is truly blessed to hear such a magic trance set.

The last time i was at cafe mambo i was waiting to go to the airport to go back home and whoever was playing played low sun by chicane and both me and my mate cried our eyes out (probably due to being awake for 3 days and the serotonin depletion), if i was there for this i definitely would have cried tears of joy again
