I had a year of nursing about fifty years ago before I bailed out. With that being so long ago, I couldn't remember how bone was repaired. I have two breaks in my foot now and am curious as to what's going on in there. Your explanation and illustrations are easy to understand. Making it simple and easy to understand is the mark of an excellent teacher. Thank you. I wish you continued success.

In the beginning of your video you stated that bone fractures are increased by Vit. A deficiency, I think you meant Vit. D deficiency? The reduced Vit. D would reduce calcium absorption leading to osteopenia and thus reduced bone density.

I had a stress fracture on the side of my foot by my small toe, and this happened back in January, now I rarely have pain. I can run and walk on it but, I also rest it at times to not overwork it. It's been 5 months now and I'm gonna go back to the doc maybe in June. Does this mean I'm completely healed, or close to healing, or that I am healing well? Thanks for the video!! It was very great.

first of all this is a really good way of explaination! but i just had a point about Osteomyetlitis, true "osteo" means bone, but "myelitis" doesnt mean bone marrow only, it means "inflammation of the bone marrow", "myelo" means bone marrow. For sure you know this but just wanted to make it clear for others! No offense :)

Hope my bliming dislocated shoulder gets fully restored. I assume that at the end of week 4, while it may be solid'ish structure, it'll still fragile. Therefore sore in certain movements. Hopefully end of week 8 or 12 I can do what I've always done with it.
