Just opened my ranger today!! Already love it and have taking lots of reference photos for illustrations! It's so handy for perspective shots and capturing the little nuances of the human expression.

In my search for posable artist figures it ultimately led me to Armature Nine. I think I’ve almost binged all of your videos in the last two days! What a wonderful product you have. Yesterday I ordered the Ranger XY along with flexible clavicles. I’m looking forward to receiving it for drawing references and to have as a nice display piece as well. Nice to know these are personally made and put together by you. Love how you use 3D printing along with mold injected parts for them. You have a new customer and subscriber to your channel and sites.

Thank you so much for sharing that Jerry! I hope the figure serves you well. It’s incredibly rewarding for me to do this kind of work and be involved in serving a growing community of artists, figure drawing and manikin enthusiasts. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any issues with your Ranger. Comes with a lifetime warranty. I’m not happy unless my customers are happy.

does the rider come with articulated proportional hands instead of the bigger hands?
@Armaturenine4 жыл бұрын
Comes with but they are oversized because of limitations I have making pieces at that scale. But it does come with blocky hands that are proportional.

You mention (rider) the small male figure. I don't see it on your website. Plz make it clear with the price tag, thank you.

Hi, so sorry about the confusion. The name of the individual figures (rider, dwarven, digitigrade, etc) you’ll see in the drop-down of the small biped product here armaturenine.com/products/smallbipeds

Hi Paul, you mentioned that Ranger XX and Ranger XY are more anatomically accurate . Ranger Classic has wider back but more flexible clavicles. So I am wondering if XX and XY can still have enough flexibility to do all kinds of poses as Ranger Classic does ? I am looking for pieces that can bring most accurate proportion and also maximum flexibility. Love to hear from you
@Armaturenine3 жыл бұрын
Hi Chrissa, the classic definitely wins in terms of range of motion because of the ability to retract and protract the shoulders. But the others win in terms of proportion, stability and strength (the flexible clavicles are not as durable so they take more care to operate). Lifetime warranty has you covered of course. But I know it can be inconvenient to ask and wait for replacements. That said I recently started including at least one extra flexible clavicle for this reason. I personally would suggest getting the XY version and at a later time investing in a pair of flexible clavicles if you feel you need them. Or order the classic and get a pair of regular clavicles as a backup in case you don’t like the flexible ones.

Armature Nine Hi Paul, thanks for the advice. I checked the website but didn’t find where I could buy the clavicles parts. Could you plz send a link here? Thanks 😀

Heh heh! Nice! Thanks for sharing that Paul! :) I was having lots of fun today with the new green stand. Makes posing crazy fun and easy now with the Riders.

Can the Rider classics hips and shoulders be adjusted to become just like the xx & xy? Or does the female version look need unique fittings for hips and waist (I see the different upper torso designs, ? Can they shipped to the U.K.? These are awesome by the way, cheers.
@Armaturenine2 жыл бұрын
Hi DscruGaming, yes, they swivel just the same as the larger figures :) And yes, UK shipping works.

What size of screws do you use for the nice green silicone rig
@Armaturenine3 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, the one I use is a M4-0.7 X 18MM. You can buy the nut and bolt set on the drop-down menu for the green stand found in our accessories page if you like.

I can't find anything showing complete knee range. Like can they sit on their heels with backs of legs completely folded and touching like humans can?
@Armaturenine7 ай бұрын
yes, you can find a complete in-depth review on A9's range of motion here:
Recently discovered these and they're amazing. So much better than the competitors out there. Out of curiosity though, are there any plans to expand and make hands?
@Armaturenine2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Five Jedi’s - yes. I’ve had a partially completed hand manikin for years now. Still hope to get around to finishing it some day. For now the only hands I have are the little ones for the manikins.

Why don't you just glue the magnet directly to the support screw ?
@Armaturenine4 жыл бұрын
It’s a good idea. If I did that though, then the screw head wouldn’t be available to the screw driver for tightening. So I figure best to leave it up to you.

Hopefully within a week or two. I just need to get the new photos taken so I can update the product listing. They will appear as drop-down options within the biped categories (Ranger and Rider)
