Great details including the head control and keeping hands free to be able to freely transition into other attacks etc, I look forward to drilling this technique tomorrow

How did it go brother?

@@EnergiaMartialArtsTum sorry for the delayed response brother must have missed your comment and realised when I came back to watch again. It works very well, consistently, the control is excellent and those details perfectly address the issue I’ve had with controlling posture from this arm drag position without tiring my arms out versus big guys. I expected it to be difficult to switch the angle of my hips but the opponent finds it hard to stop you with their arm trapped like this. It’s great that if they use their head to defend you taking the first armbar you can transition into the other submissions. I have yet to drill the progression to the belly down armbar which I’m looking forward to over the coming days

@JamesBrown- happy to hear that sir! 🙏🙌🏼 it’s good to keep an open mind towards some of these more ‘basic’ moves. Instead of the next move, focusing on details and improving existing ones is something I truly admire about bjj. Thanks for sharing that passion! Osú

All things in jiujitsu come around. A long time it was all about inside heelhooks, now we are back to outside. Ruotolotine is ‘new’ has been done for dozens of years. How long have you been around in jiujitsu?
