Sol was there to save Osha way to fast to have reacted to the fire. I believe, the Jedi went infiltrated the compound to "free" Osha and Mae. Kelnacca disabled the generator, Sol went to get the children and Indara and Torbin fought the Witches. This is how Indara attacked unarmed opponents as Mae claimed in the first episode and Torbin got so traumatized that he willingly took the poison. And I think, this will be revealed when they have this meaningfull discussion on Coruscant.

I think its pretty heavily indicated that the Jedi played a role in what happened. Last episode Torbin took poison willingly over the guilt he felt for what they did. And for Sol to be there when he was to save Osha, he (and probably the other Jedi) were on site BEFORE Mae started the fire. And the witches didn't die from the explosions or fires - they were all dead in a group before everything got out of control. So... yeah... all signs point to the Jedi being involved in the deaths of the witches. Torbin didn't spend 10 years in guilty meditation waiting to be offered poison cuz they WEREN'T directly involved, after all.

All I’m gonna say is this episode made me very angry & very Team Witch/Nightsister/Dathomir/whoever they are. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the ep, but I’m supremely suspicious of the Jedi. Sol saying, “The Jedi do not take children” also got a big laugh out of me. Hide yo kids! Hide yo wife! Even with Mae being understandably upset about her twin sister leaving, her line, “I’m gonna kill you” was super out of character. And later on when Osha finds Mae during the fire, Mae seems like she’s been looking for Osha & is surprised by the fire. I can only think that the Mae that set the fire might have been a Force illusion or something similar. The entire coven didn’t just collapse & die from the fire. And the Jedi made zero efforts to save anyone except the girls. Idk if everything was the Jedi, but whatever they did was effed up enough for Master Torbin to swallow poison.

Torbin had his wound on his eye at the end on the ship. He was definitely in some sort of combat. Did Mother Koril have something to do with Mae's reaction?

I don’t understand the over the top hate this episode is getting out there. I really enjoyed it and seeing how the force is viewed through another cultures eyes. There’s more than we were shown. I’ve heard episode 5 will be the “holy crap” episode.
