The Air Force Falcons soundly defeated the Baylor Bears, 30-15, in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces bowl on Thursday. Falcons RB Brad Roberts rushed for a 116 YDS and 2 TDs while QB Haaziq Daniels threw for 103 YDS & 1 TD in the win.

well this is two things people underestimating Air Force people not knowing just how much Baylor sucks. a reminder that teams like Oklahoma, Baylor, Oklahoma St, was supposed to be top in polls and Big-12 conference, instead two teams is 6-6 (6-7 now for Baylor 6-7 soon for Oklahoma) and 7-5 for Oklahoma st. TCU is in the playoffs while preseason unranked near the bottom of FBS. just shows how a team can change in a year

People underestimate the Group-of-5 as a whole, but I wouldn't underestimate some of the Power-5 paying G5 teams for regular season wins, which is why people are hesitant to empower P5 teams with G5 wins. However, if a G5 team beats a P5 team, good for the G5 team.

Air Force had the #1 defense in the country and the #1 offense in the country earlier in the season. They lost all three of their games by one possession and were favored in all three, favored by double digits in two of them. I just wonder what could have been. Love football, America, and the two combined. Our Service Academies are always Americas Teams. This game reminded me of when Air Force beat another Texas team in the Bluebonnet Bowl when the Longhorns thought they deserved to play a better opponent. They thought Air Force would be better suited for Badmitten, but the Falcons showed up and gave them a lesson on what happens when you don't have good intel. They have been all you want when it comes to Bowl games. The toughest and top-priority games are the Army and Navy.

media had them too hyped to begin the season started our top 10 turned out they sucked, bad ended the season 6-6 even though people say “well they lost to multiple ranked opponents” still 6-6, possibly worse than kansas air force has a great defense baylor’s defense against the run sucks some transfers in this one but mainly all was in for baylor players playing tonight.

It's probably more like the flex-bone, but Wing T offenses can imitate that formation if "doubles" is called.

There are Wing T formations. They run a fair amount of read plays like the wing T triple option, but also have many designed runs that are effective just based on misdirection and establishing patterns that will later be used to confuse the defense. Their are simply too many formations to call them a classic Wing T. Still very entertaining to watch.

Air Force uses Y-Trips throwing deep passes and the Triple Option out of the Wishbone Formation it's hard to read and difficult to defend. Baylor runs it from the Offset I Formation so you practically know it's coming.

bowl games have always been exhibition games. It's why 1AA/FCS has always been the one with a real playoff format.

We just got an awesome 12 team playoff on the way. Yes, these are exhibition games, but still fun AF to watch. Now we are going to have the best of both worlds in 2024. This isn't basketball, anything more than a 12 team playoff is simply going to be way too taxing on the players unless major changes are made to the regular season. I''m happy with where college football is heading. Perfect? No. But entertainment will reach new levels in 2024. Bowls are still a lot of fun due to the crazy matchups like this. Baylor vs Air Force was awesome to watch.
