ARMENIA, The Symphony of the Stones | Garni Gorge

Armenia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world with amazing nature, historical places, beautiful cities, breathtaking views. Today I show you the very unique place Garni Gorge or Symphony of the Stones. Along the both sides of the gorge you can see cliff walls of basalt columns, carved out by the Garni river. This is very beautiful place located near the first-century AD Garni Temple and below the village of the same name. I recommend to visit this picturesque place the same day with Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery. Let's go!

This Symphony of Stone basalt(iron and magnesium) columns formation location is at Garni gorge near Goght(Gog) village located on the right bank of the upper Azat river in Armenia. Gog(Goght in Armenian) is a place and Magog(pronounced Mard Goght in Armenian) meaning Man of Goght.👌🏼👍🏼
