Absolutely enthralled with the detail and minutiae!! Subscribed AND bell icon pressed. Wish I'd known a bit more of the history of Chennai when I visited it in1990, in fact the only time ever. Have this urge after watching your work to visit again, three decades on. Look forward to many peaceful hours watching all your videos. Peace and gratitude from Kenya ... ☺️🙏 #gaj_junagadh Ps. Incidentally my grandfather joined a wave moving out of a very dry Saurashtra in the first quarter of the 20the century to East Africa. Opening up was the colony of Kenya. The Chettiar success story in South East Asia was repeated in East Africa by Gujarati immigrants ... ,😊🙏

Mr. S. As a former long term resident of Madras / Chennai, thank you for reminding us about this gem in the long history of the City. I would love to return to the place I first visited more than 40 + years ago.

Foreign Minister says Home state. Does that state recognise him that way ? Is he not Aryan and alien to that state ? Did that state elect him or will it ?

Chettinad people went to Burma, Malaya, Singapore, Vietnam, Ceylon etc... But we can see most remains in Malaysia and Singapore, followed by little in Myanmar and some street etc in Sri Lanka. No records exist in spice kingdoms of the South East. There are tales of many Tamils involved in Death Railway construction.. Sir do a short video on LIC building, Race club, Annamalai University etc
